FMSE23 is packed with a plethora of options and running lightning fast. The focus is on the editing side of things. The scouting capabilities are limited. For more advanced scouting, it's recommended to try Genie Scout 23.Whenever there's a new official patch out, we'll make an effort to update FMSE asap. And while update time is dependent on external factors (such as patch complexity), we'll do our best to deliver updates as quickly as possible.

FMSE doesn't work with network saves, and it never will. Because that'd turn it into a hacking tool and we don't want that.

How to use FMSE
Current version 6.5.0 is compatible with the following Windows editions: Steam, Epic & Game Pass.- Unzip and install by running the .exe file.
- Open Football Manager 2023 and load your saved game.
- Open FMSE 2023.
- Click on the load icon (small folder, top left).
- Search for awards, cities, clubs, players...
- Double-click on an item from the results.
- A new window will pop-up and you can edit data there.
- Once done editing click on the save icon (small disk, top left) for the changes to take effect.

Until FMSE Update in not ready you will get that error.
Another question, can I make myself the manager of a national team? (I have the license)
@diguvejuqome: No such thing as a public version. FMSE doesn't come with a special version. It's the one you can download from this page. And if you wish to be able to save your edits, you need to purchase a license.
@RXS78: Download, install and explore the options you get with FMSE. You don't need a license to do that.
@Romax: You need to change CA (and PA if it's lower than CA) to "reflect" the attribute changes. If that's not possible (e.g. setting all attributes 20 doesn't equal to 200 CA which is the max), simply enable the attribute freeze option.
@ohkatsura: I can ask Thanos about it, but it's not currently a priority for him to be working on new features.
@Saumonvert: Click on the little face icon next to the save icon (diskette) to access the human manager options.
@lucaliberali: No, FMSE doesn't work on Mac. But might be worth a try via WineBottler or Parallels.
@theDokes: No, Thanos has hardcoded the currency to be in GBP.
@Ivanche: The human manager options are only those 3 you found.
@NubMaster: Open Windows start menu, type FMSE to find FMSE23, then right-click on it and select "Run as administrator".

For those asking, save your money until you can see that they are actually trying to update this regularly. It was my mistake

Do the editor works on MAC??
On quick access toolbar i can see only three options for my self (unsackable, reg. numbers and reg. squad)
Will it be possible to change the identity of the staff, for example the owner ? because at the moment we can only change the âge
@Cholle: Swapping is for contracted players. I'll ask Thanos if there's a way to fix that, but it's not looking good.
@Proglaminous: I don't have that to check how different it is. You can always download / install / try if it works. You only need a license to save edits.
@JackDoddy: Remember that IGA only shows on the Attributes screen, not on the Overview screen.
