Football Manager 2019 to debut in German market

Sega have agreed licensing with Bundesliga, and as a result, Football Manager will be finally released in Germany and German language will be officially added... all that starting from Football Manager 2019.

Electronic Arts have been exclusive license holders for many years, and they still hold exclusive rights for certain aspects of this licensing deal. Sega have become partners with Bundesliga International for the first time, securing themselves comprehensive non-exclusive rights packages.

Miles Jacobson (SI studio director) has also confirmed that the Football Manager game series will keep going at least til FM 2022. Technically, the DFL announcement confirmed it: "...acquired the rights to license match simulation products for the four seasons from 2018/19 through 2021/22...".
