How to install this data update to FM 2022
- Open the file you downloaded with .rar or winzip.
- Select all .fmf files and copy-paste/extract/drag & drop them into the editor data folder, to the following location:
Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2022 / editor data
Create the "editor data" folder if it doesn't exist. - Make a new "Career" game. Choose the "22.4.0 Update" which includes the winter transfers and select all my files.
In case you have more editor data files:
When setting up a new game, do not have any other data update files ticked on your Editor Data Files screen except this one.
Choose only my files if you are not sure about the changes in every file. Many files together from different creators can cause crashes to the game, duplicates and other problems. Avoid using files from different creators.

@CosminAgafitei, these packs and the summer transfers file from FMTransferUpdate.com are updated based on the fact that the game starts in 2021. You can start the game 1 year after the default dates, but I wouldn't suggest that, it would be pretty bad if you want to use these files.

@mahzen88, I haven't changed any rules at all just the new format. If it was included already in the game starting in the 2nd season, then yes, you will also find them. If they were not included by default in the game, then the answer you are looking is no. I just moved the years, so the 2nd season (rules & format) are there from the 1st year of the game.
@CassChan, literally makes sense, it's 29 of July, hundreds of transfers are happening every minute. Patience is a virtue.

I'd like to ask something about Turkey league restrictions. I've seen that you have already modified it but does the change contain latest "foreign player rule" ? I don't know if it is possible to edit but currently 8 foreign players can play on field while maximum 14 foreign players can be in match squad.

-Calvin Bassey should have a big current and potential ability boost, Man of the Match in a European final and signed by Ajax for 20m+

Thanks for the update You are a legend but I have a problem in this updated version 4.5 whenever I want to start a new game/career it doesn't allow me to load any league in Germany it always say "Require 18 teams in Regionligga but found only 17" please how can I fix it? Thanks in advance

Does this update work on fm21? i've added the files correctly but the new database is not visible on career mode. It adds the new players but does not remove the old players. i.e Luis is still at arsenal but viera added.
