Football Manager 2023 Data Updates - FM23 Transfers & Data Update Packs by TheNotoriousPr0 + FMTU

V Final contains 191.424 changes until the 10th of October 2023 that happened after the 23.4 database lock-down. New packs are released approximately every 10 days (1st, 10th, 20th of every month), around 18:00 BST / 19:00 CEST / 20:00 EEST.

How to install this data update to FM 2023

Open the file you downloaded with .rar or winzip.

Select all .fmf files and copy-paste/extract/drag & drop them into the editor data folder, to the following location:
Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2023 / editor data
Create the "editor data" folder if it doesn't exist.

Make a new "Career" game. Choose the "23.4.0 Update" database & select all my files.

In case you have more editor data files:
When setting up a new game, do not have any other data update files ticked on your Editor Data Files screen except this one.
Choose only my files if you are not sure about the changes in every file. Many files together from different creators can cause crashes to the game, duplicates and other problems. Avoid using files from different creators.

Hi only just saw the reply. its the FM23 Transfers file in this download ive not tried it on any other file. i could find anything online to upload a url picture. i only have pictures on saved on desktop i dont know how can send you them on there. but i can give you the path way of what im talking about in editor click on anytime, any player without a squad number, go to club contract there is normal a tick box then next to it a place to change the squad number but this doesn't. i have noticed this happening say if a player leaves a club as free agent in database then 2 months late he joins another club so you nip back into editor to update it to new club you cant give that player an new squad number. I am asking because before i start a new game before new fm game arrives in october /november i just wanted to edit player squad number through premier league to vanarama. kind regards

@Joe.Bry, lower leagues are a mess in England (at least from someone who is not from within), so I can't do much. Sadly it's either promotions from me, or lower leagues from another creator.

Hi, I have this installed as well as Dans England level 12 - are they not compatible together, please? Keeps coming up with errors when trying to load England

@immense-eel, I am managing myself right now in England and I can truly see your point. I am afraid that's a bit difficult even for me. That could be hardcoded, but I am not 100% sure for that. Sadly I can't do much.

@ghostface365, maybe you can be more specific or provide an image? That could help. Are you talking about FMTransferUpdate.com?

@stpk, maybe don't spend that much money?

@durmus, turkish rules were already in the game, I just moved the seasons back by 1 year. Since I am not familiar with the nation nor the rules, I am afraid I can't do much. It stands as it is.

@alaseng11, the 3rd division was waay too difficult to implement to be honest with all the team changes and the reconstruction of the leagues. If I find time, I will check it, but can't promise much right now.

@plonck, There is even a unique file called "FM23 French New Format" it even appears with a flag from France, you couldn't miss it even if you tried..

For the next update I'd very much appreciate if you can add Jayce Fitzgerald to Man United in the wonderkid file. Playing for the U18's, highly thought of. DM/CM. 9th May 2007 so not long turned 17 years old.

Zeb Jacobs has been promoted to Head of Youth Development @ Rangers also. Jonatan Johansson has returned to Rangers too as a youth coach.

Hey hello @TheNotoriousPr0 thanks for the new Turkish format but it has a error in the next season a team from spor toto 2.lig (white and red group) cant assigned the league despite being in the league cause an error can you solve this thanks.

Hey guys, I've done everything on your guide to install the patches but it always crushes when i log with the update files. I have noticed that when i open the game via the epic games luncher this doesn't occur but the database doesn't appear. Pls help I'm on Mac

hi great update everytime i cant wait to get going i have noticed a slight issue with the editor on your fm transfer file i have gone to change the teams squad numbers on some of the players that have transfered the icon for sguad number isnt there in the editor i can only change the numbers for players who was contracted with team last year. kind regards

Thanks for a great update!

Some weeks ago i requested that, if possible, that the new rules concerning work permits in the UK would be put in. 4 signings in pl/ Championship and 2 in league 1 and 2, with no permit restriction. Any chance you would try to look at that for the next update? The change pretty much is a game changer for FM24, and you could be a first mover here. Kind Regards!

TheNotoriousPr0, i started a new game and went to the page where u pick team to manage and clicked chelsea and viewed there squad,he was injured ,ive then just restarted a new game and hes not injured must of been a bug,im sorry about questioning your work,id love to donate for all the work you put in on all updates and allways used your updates how could i happily donate to you? other than paypal as i dont use it, many thanks bro <3

@xbluebloodx, No I haven't. Create a new game, most likely it happened in game, there is nothing on Nicolas Jackson in my injuries file.

First of all, huge thanks! I have question. I downloaded the latest update pack. I installed the same way, i started a new season, change database, but there is a lot of problem. For example: Myteny Abena is in Slovan Bratislava, but in january he moved to Ferencvaros. Same problem with Owusu Kwabena (Qqarabag), Rasmus Thelander. Otherhand, on the fmtransferupdate website has a good club by their name. Why? What do i do wrong? Many thanks!
