In the Champions League, we were eliminated in the group stage. We lost 1-3 to Feyenoord and Manchester United, and 0-2 to Copenhagen. Win against Copenhagen and 1 point againt ManU secured third place and we came up to Europaleague which we lost in two games against Brighton
The league went much better; we secured a third-place finish, 10 points behind the top spot. According to xG, we're in second place, narrowly missing the championship due to a lesser goal difference. Oh, about goals – we scored 79, the most in the league. However, just over 50 goals against us tempered the enthusiasm. But overall, we're satisfied with league season.
The youth teams performed well with the same tactic. The U20 team won the UEFA Youth League, while the U18 team had a decent run before exiting the competition.
For me I will proceed using GYR's VOLANTE VICTORY tactic, for next season with new players and updated team.
