India has always been yearning for a proper league structure. This is my attempt at having one.
The season runs from January to November, keeping in line with AFC continental cup competitions.
There are 4 divisions which are as follows: -
Hero Indian Super League (top tier) - 20 teams, 4 teams relegated.
Hero I-league (2nd tier) - 24 teams, 3 automatic promotions plus 1 playoff promotion. 4 teams relegated
Hero 2nd Division league (3rd tier) - 24 teams, 3 automatic promotions plus 1 playoff promotion. 4 teams relegated
Airtel I-league 3rd Division (4th tier) - 24 teams, 3 automatic promotions plus 1 playoff promotion.(no relegation but I do plan to add more depth so this might be changed in the future)
I have also upped the youth rating from 86 to 110, improved the finances across the board to ensure that clubs actually have money to improve. There has been no changes made whatsoever to the club finances, reputation, players etc. These are the default version.
The reserves and the u21s play in their own league structure but in the future they might get added to the pyramid, depending on how much I improve at editing and how much depth I can add.
Federation cup is revitalised as the main cup competition and the winners gets AFC cup group stage position. Durand cup has been converted into the super cup between the winner of the Federation cup and ISL.
FM21 Sim Test
These are the results of the first 2 seasons I ran as a sim to test it out.The save file has also been tested on the FM pre game editor until 31st December 2100 multiple times to iron out any errors.
