After lots of using other peoples tactics I thought I would try and make my own.
I'm not a fan of striker-less and/or asymmetrical tactics so shied away from that kind of thing. I favour a two man up top approach and wanted to try and get the most out of inverted wing backs moving into central positions.
Originally the tactic was a 3-2-3-2 and did well in a Liverpool/Fulham holiday mode test. I then went through a few iterations of tweaking and testing to try and get more out of the wide midfielders and central midfielder before settling on the above 2-3-3-2.
It great success in a quick plug and play test with Liverpool and Fulham with solid improvements in the wide midfielders. My anchor man could still be better but I see him as the unsung hero.
The strike partnership of Mane and Salah scored 105 goals in the season 53 for Salah and 52 for Mane.
