Ole's Man Utd FM19 Tactic

This is the closest version of Ole Gunnar's Manchester tactic as it involves as fast creative brand of football that United have been showing recently. Narrow 4-3-3 for FM 2019.

Football Manager 2019 Tactics - Ole's Man Utd FM19 Tactic
A basic 4-3-3 formation which emphasizes on creativity.

3 strikers upfront could involve any combinations of Alexis, Martial, Rashford, Lingard or even Lukaku and Mata as two wide strikers will act as advanced forwards while the central striker will be more of a false 9 so he can drop deeper and make killer passes to the other 2 advanced forwards. I'd usually put Martial and Rashford as the advanced forwards as both are quick of the mark and have either Alexis or Lingard as central options. Mata may be used as an attacking mid if both Alexis and Lingard are unavailable or as a sub in central position. Lukaku would serve as a good sub for either of the strikers upfront.

In the midfield 3 top choices are Pogba, Matic and Herrera. Matic serves as the best central mid as he can hold his position and play from deep positions while laying of passes to Pogba and Herrera who push further upwards.

The defence can have various combinations but I'd prefer having the combo of Shaw, Lindelof, Bailly, Young.
And no guesses for GK as the king Dave is the no1, no2, no3 choice.

@dite you can try tinkering the player roles as you see fit as far as my opinion is concerned I'd like to say that an AP would make you vulnerable when possession has been lost as they tend to operate higher up whereas the DLP will keep cycling possession from deeper positions resulting in less movement forwards. I choose a BBM because they move with the team and are a perfect balance more like a 50-50 of both DLP and AP.
Secondly, a False nine is not a must as I have mentioned in the description you can make it to an AM as Utd have players like Mata and Jesse that can operate in that position.

Hello, I'm currently using your tactic as Man Utd and it works fine so far, but I have some questions:

I see that you use 2 BBM, what if I changed one of them into DLP or AP? Will the tactics still work fine?

Second, is false 9 a must? Can I change it into CF, TM ?? or maybe changed it into AMC with AP or AM role?

    Thanks for answering :)

@p677 - I'm just joking about the recent losses (Wolves twice and Watford) after it looked like Ole could do no wrong.

the tactic was tested for three seasons. it proves to be a perfect match for the current side and against bigger teams, I'd remove the false 9 and play Mata or Andreas as an attacking mid or an advanced playmaker attack this would increase support to the midfield as well. about the choking part, I think only if you are a shitty manager then the team can underperform otherwise I don't think there should be any problem.

Will this allow you to beat up on a bunch of minnows before choking when it matters? After getting a new long term contract, of course...

Not bad but ole is playing counter attack and will revert utd back to a false9 (rashford)(lingard right)(martial left)next season to compete with man city.
