An amazing tactic that earns you a lot of goals while keeping control over the game (60% possession or higher).
Tested with Manchester United, FC Barcelona and AFC Ajax.
This tactic will result in thousands of short passes, eventually ending up in the goal.
You do need some players with great technical attributes, and there will never be a guarantee that this tactic will work with teams that are not built for this. Tiki-Taka is a philosophy, one you must apply over several years until you see the amazing results.
PLAYERS
In DLF, we have a striker that needs to contribute in the build-up but also be able to deliver a deadly finish.
On the left/right wing, you need inside forwards that can cut inside and score a lot of goals.
The BBM is a player that needs to be intelligent. He needs to defend properly when your team loses possession and attack as a Mezzala.
The AP should require a lot of vision. Nuff said. It's just a generic playmaker that will involve himself a lot in the build-up play.
Defense should be fast and be able to deliver good passes. Wingbacks should be able to go forward and create chances.
TRAINING/OI
I always leave training to my Assistant Manager.
Opposition instructions should be left to your own discretion. I usually use no opposition instructions.
Have fun with this tactic.
Remember. This isn't plug and play. This tactic is built to fit certain players. Not every player will fit in this.
