Football Manager 2020 was announced on August 27th, not unveiling any new features as expected. There are certain facts we already knew before that and some others within the announcement.

• FM20 out on early November, possibly on the 8th.


• FM 20, FM Touch 20 and FM Mobile 20 will all be released simultaneously on the same day, like last year.

• The free FM2020 Demo is expected on the same day as the final game release.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the new features of FM20?
Sports Interactive won't say because the game is not ready for showing yet. Not all features are final at this point, they’ll begin to showcase new features from late September.

Can my computer run FM20? It runs FM19 no problem.
According to the official product page on Steam store, here are FM20 minimum system requirements. Sports Interactive suggest that if your computer runs FM19 okay, you should be fine with FM20 as the system specs are almost identical. Key difference is dropping support for 32-bit computers, and raising the minimum version of DirectX required.

When is the Pre-Release Beta?
The pre-release Beta is out approximately two weeks before the final release, so it should unlock in late October.

Why is the game not available for purchase in Brazil?
Sadly, due to licensing restrictions we are legally not currently able to sell the game in Brazil and few other countries.

Will Football Manager Touch 2020 run on my Tablet?
A compatibility list for tablets will be made available closer to release.

What's happening with the Nintendo Switch version?
The Nintendo Switch version of the FM Touch 2020 will be released towards the end of November.

Will FM20 come to PlayStation or XBOX?
No. Sports Interactive have ruled out a possible return to non-handheld console games for the foreseeable future.
