Zidane's Return of the Galacticos // FM20 Tactic by RDF

Zidane found the perfect balance for his Madrid squad that looked to be in turmoil. The key to his success is his midfield. They bring such a beautiful balance between protecting the defence, playmaking from deeper areas and stretching the play. With this set up, this then allows the attackers (The Galacticos) the freedom to express themselves and be match winners

In transition play, when possession has been lost, Madrid counter-press aggressively to force mistakes in the opponents deeper areas. When achieved successfully this allows Madrid to turn over play very quickly. Statistically, Madrid are among the best in the world using this counter-press system.

In FM20, RDF has tried to replicate this system and he has managed to find so success whilst using it with Madrid. In the season, RDF managed to win the double. The La Liga and Copa Del Rey. In Europe, RDF got knocked out in the Semi Final stages, losing to Manchester City

But the most impressive thing about this season was the goal return from the front 3...Just in the league, between the front 3 (Hazard, Benzema & Bale) they scored a combined 69 goals and 23 assists. Madrid scoring a total of 103 goals!
