Well I was having a wee bit of a problem getting my strikers to score so I got on the net and did some research my reading what other people had to say about it. I also looked at different tactics and what-not and managed to whip up something that's done wonders for me. My team went on to have an unbeaten run of 64 games, I didn't restart a single time through-out that run. My team would win by margins of 5-0, 7-0 and most recently 9-0. At least one of my strikers would bag hat-trick and at most, defence would concede one goal, two maximum.
The only thing I can say about this is make sure your strikers are top-notch because the number of opportunities that will be created is insane; my team scored from corners, free-kicks, counter attacks and throw-ins as well.
Hopefully it will work for you as it did for me. I'm managing Tottenham by the way.
I've attached two tactics:
1) Banned From The Roxy - Teams that play a narrow game will use this rather effectively as the players play through the middle. It also works just as well if you play a wide game. Try shift between tempos and see what fits your team, normally a fast tempo would work best for this but experiment with it.
2) Experiment - Will work wonders for your scoring opportunities, did for me at least. Individual player instructions have been set in order to get your players to perform in a more efficient manner
