Goals this year
This year I want to qualify for the World Cup. I'm in a group with France, Bulgaria, Romania and Kazakhstan...Hard group, but I hope for a second place and an easy draw in playoffs...
World Cup 2010 Qualifications
Wales 2 : 0 Romania
My first match was against France, but i hoped that my squad still has momentum from earlier games but I was wrong.
I came up with really defensive tactic but I couldn't do much. Pedretti scored in 10.min from a free kick, than Anelka in 19.min and Henry in 24.min. My team couldn't do anything. I tried more offensively in second half but there were no goals. I lost heavily but France is way better team than me so thats kind what I have expected.
I played good from the start and my offensive tactic payed out. Bellamy scored twice in 23. and 27. min. And Eastwood scored his first international goal in 30.min. Israel tried to attack in second half, scored two goals but no more so I won.
You can see the explanation in my other blog "A Road To Glory" why this abrupt end

I'll start a new blog about my 3rd season at Hoffenheim and I'll change the name...
