I tested this tactic with two teams at same time,. AC Milan in Italian Serie A and Newcastle in Premier League, by creating two different coach profiles.
With Ac Milan I won the triplete (or treble), Serie A + Italian Cup + Champions League, while with Newcastle I finished 5th in Premier League together with Liverpool and I won the FA CUP.
I scored 104 goals (Ibrahimovic top striker of SERIE A with more than 30 goals, won 6-2 against Lazio, 8-0 against Zenit in Champions, 7-2 against Juventus and despite my tactic is extremely offensive, my defensive performance was not bad, the third best defense of SERIE A (after Inter and Atalanta).
With Newcastle I scored more than 80 goals and finished 5th in Premier League together with Liverpool. My tactic tries to keep ball possession but also to play with a higher tempo, not a very low tempo like for example in Barcelona TIKITAKA and is based on the following instructions.

Mentality: Attacking
1) In possession
Attacking width: fairly wide (not very wide because there are only the two widebacks eg. Theo Hernandez and Calabria who can overlap left and right, while the three strikers are all central.
Approach Play: Pass Into space, play out of defence
Passing : shorter or much shorter
Tempo: Higher or Extremely High if you are desperate to score in the last minutes
Time Wasting: never (this instruction is to be used only if you are winning 1-0 and you don't want to allow a goal from the opponent in the last seconds, believe me it happens very often in the injury time)
Final Third: Mixed crosses (you can change this instruction basing on the type of strikers you have in your team, e.g. , with Messi , low crosses, with big strikers like Lukaku, of course floated crosses)
Play for set pieces and Dribble Less
2) In transition: counter press and counter
3) Out of possession
Defensive shape: use offside trap
Line of engagement: much higher
Defensive line: higher (not much higher if you don't want to allow too many counter attacks from the opponent with their striker one vs one with your goalie)
Defensive width: force opposition outside (block the box)
Marking and Tackling: higher marking, pressing much more often, prevent short gk distribution and get stuck in,
These are the English instructions, the video is in Italian.
