5 Nations League Pyramid for FM24

Since SI announced that FM25 was being put back until March I decided to release a database to the Steam Workshop I'd been trialing & trying to perfect for the past few months and originally was gonna release just after FM25 debuted.

In essence it's a whole League Pyramid encompassing a merger between the 5 Nations of England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales.

I've bug checked and simulated 20+ years 5 times & I've thus far found no problems.

There are 2 League Titles per Season to play for - The Premier League & The 5-Nations Diamond League.

If your Club is in the Premier League & Diamond League there are 3 National Cup Competitions to play for each Season - The FA Cup, League Cup & Community Shield.

The Premier League is the same Competition as the English League Pyramid currently plays for(I thought in a Real-Life scenario where all 5 Nations merged that the Premier League's Worldwide appeal & market cap would likely make it be the League of the merger), although it's made up of 32 Teams playing across 2 Groups. Each team plays the others in their group twice, for a total of 30 games & the Winners of each Group play each other in a single Final to determine the Winner of the Premier League.

The 32 teams (and those further down the pyramid) were decided by the real-life results of last Seasons Leagues.

A big difference in the Premier League and the pyramid it sits atop of in this Database is that Wins are worth 5 points whilst draws still only 1. I made this decision for several reasons, which I explain in the Steam Workshop, but what it does is rewards wins a lot more & also gives a challenge to players to try and hit the perfect 150-point Season.

The Premier League sits atop an 11-level (10 playable) League system that has every team from England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales competing.

The Diamond League is a serious Competition, but teams must field at least 7 u21 Players in their starting line-up each game. It's a competition between 128 Clubs who compete in 16 Divisions. They play each team in their group twice for a total of 14 games & the Winner of each Group play in a Playoff system to determine the Champions.

The points for wins & draws for this pyramid is the normal 3 & 1.

The Diamond League pyramid is half the size of the Premier League one at 6 Levels (5 Playable) but contains all the same teams. I made this decision so that a player can focus on their Youth Development and allow success in that to help them progress if the Main pyramid is slow moving.

The FA Cup & League Cup have differing qualification rules but their formats are similar to real-life. The Community Shield however is a start of Season Cup Tournament involving all Premier League teams, so takes on a lot more importance than it's real-life Friendly-esque persona.

European Qualification depends on the team's Nationality.

If English, lesser European Competitions can be qualified to through the Cup Competitions. The Champions League depends on highest points total in the Premier League Main Season.

For non-English teams, the higher in the pyramid (points matter) a Club finishes, the higher European Competition they'll qualify for. As teams from those Nations perform better in European Competitions, the more spaces the Nation will get. You'll see in my screenshots that it's not uncommon for a team to be relegated from the Premier League but qualify for the Champions League as they bettered their compatriots.

***I HAVE ALSO RELEASED A VERSION OF THE DATABASE THAT GIVES NON-ENGLSH CLUBS IN THE TOP 2 DIVISIONS BETTER PLAYER STATS & TRAINING/YOUTH FACILITIES SO THEY'RE A LOT MORE COMPETITIVE AND WON'T NECESSARILY GET RELEGATED IN THE FIRST SEASON, CAUSING A KNOCK-ON EFFECT - IT'S CALLED 5-NATIONS - STATS UPGRADED***
