Pre Season
Pre season has went well winning all 6 of my games comfortably including an impressive 4-0 win over Brentford. James McFadden being the star man with 4 goals in 6 games.
Season
First game of the season was Southampton at home and we began the season well with a 3-1 win. Goals from McFadden(2) and Larrson.
Birmingham 4 - 0 Wycombe (League Cup 1st round)
Another strong performance takes me through to the 2nd round of the cup. Goals from McFadden(2), Bowyer and Larrson.
Swansea 0 - 4 Birmingham
First game away from home and again another fantastic performance from the boys. Goals from Bowyer, McFadden(2) and Jimenez.
Birmingham 2 - 0 Sheffield United
Once again another impressive win see's me sitting top of the league after 3 games. Goals from Jimenez and Bowyer.
Birmingham 2 - 3 Leicester (League Cup 2st round)
First defeat of the season see's me knocked out in the 2nd round. Slightly disappointed but hoping it isn't a sign of things to come. Goals from McFadden and Diop.
Blackpool 2 - 2 Birmingham
Blackpool played well drawing level twice in the match. Goals from Jimenez and McSheffrey.
Birmingham 3 - 1 Barnsley
Back to winning ways with a solid performance at home. Goals from Bowyer, McFadden and Larrson.
Wolves 2 - 2 Birmingham
Again another draw, slightly less disappointed with this one as Wolves are also promotion contenders. Goals from Stearman (og) and Bowyer.
Birmingham 3 - 0 Watford
A strong performance in the 2nd half saw me pull the win out the bag. Goals from Taylor(2) and Bowyer
Derby 1 - 4 Birmingham
I'm starting to wonder if i'll lose a league game (not that i'm complaining). Goals from McFadden(3) and Savage(og).
Crystal Palace 0 - 1 Birmingham
Goal in the 86th minute saw me win a tough match which I expected to draw. Goal from Jimenez.
Birmingham 1 - 0 Ipswich
Once again a narrow win but a win non the less. Goal from Diop.
So sitting in 1st place with 8 wins and 2 draws. James McFadden being the star of the show so far, hoping his form contintues and he doesn't get injured. Looking like it could be a good season if things stay as they are.
