This is my emulation of Max Allegri's tactic at AC Milan in this season.
A solid 5-4-1 with low block in defense, 3-2-4-1 (3-2-5) in attack with some adjustments to solve defensive issues.
I tested this tactic in one single season with AC Milan with the same players Allegri has available now. The main formation is: Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Pulisic, Leao (Gimenez).
I won Serie A and got knocked out by Bologna (again!!!) in Coppa Italia semi-finals,
It's a very solid tactic in defense, it becames a 5-4-1 with a low block, creating central density and closing all spaces, forcing the opponents to play down the flanks, far from the box.
In attack it's a 3-2-4-1 with a very useful 3+2 build-up structure which allows to safely bypass the opponent's first pressing line.
