FM19 Tactic: Attacking 4-3-3 Mezzala

Velez Sarsfield is one of my favorite FM clubs - bunch of talents, good facilities, big stadium, big opponents in league (Boca, River, San Lorenzo) - perfect club for someone who does not have enough time to get club from 6th division and play 50-seasons save.

Let's go to the tactic now. Attacking 4-3-3 with mezzala as key player.

Most important aspects of this tactic are:
- short and quick passes (except Mezzala - he has to pass longer balls, to enable the team to move quickly from defenders to inside forwards or false 9),
- wide formation,
- high pressing, but standard line of engagement,
- counter attacking.



Mezzala is the most important player in this tactic, cause he dribbles, he shots and he passes long balls to inside forwards. My mezzala, Lucas Robertone, was the top scorer of the league and had the biggest average rating.

Results:

Velez Sarsfield - champion in first season - 65 points in 25 games (average 2,6 points), average 2,8 goal per game, average 9,4 shots on target per game, won Copa Argentina, perfect start in Copa Libertadores group stage - 9 points after 3 games.



Deportivo Cali (tested for half a season, cause Colombian league plays opening season in the first half of the year and the closing season in the second half of the year) - 44 points in 19 games
