My winter vacation:
It has been an amazing year for me in to world of soccer. Started as the head of the U-23 squad then hired to the first team. I can't believe we made it this far and am proud of the club making it as far as we did. Next season will be better!!
So lots of things have happened since the end. First off I get the best early Christmas present from my girlfriend who I have dated since University. I will go in to that part later. Also I got a chance to shoot a commercial for our new sponsor Tim Hortons. That was really cool.
Lets get back to earlier.
So It is November 30th. I fly from Vancouver to Chicago to meet up with my girlfriend since she lives there. We see each other for the first time in months. We are now hand in hand getting ready to walk to the international departures section of Chicago O'hare.
Our flight is at 3:30 CST on Lufthansa flight 528 to Munich, Germany that is right we are going to MUNICH!!! We are both Bayern fans so this is perfect. Our trip will last two weeks

Several hours later we arrive.
On the 3rd of December we get a chance to head to the Allianz Arena for a nice private tour. I decide to wear my Vancouver Jacket over my Bayern polo because it was cold out and also I wanted to market the club a bit.
We meet a Mr. Thomas Nowitzki and he shows us all around the stadium. This tour is awesome, we even got a chance to go to the training grounds and watch a bit of practice. It is the end of the tour and we are at the Hall of Fame. As soon as Mr. Nowitzki said thank you. I hear a voice it is none other than Pep Guardiola, he comes over and greets me and we are talking. Best part is he invited me to his office.
We spent a few hours taking about life and football, he gave me some hints and tips to become successful for my career. I thank him and guess what at the end we exchange contact information. I give him my business card and personal number he does the same. As we are walking out he asked if we were going to the match tomorrow and he replied no, so then he gave us tickets to his personal suite. Next day got to see them draw and afterward we were invited to meet the players.
That was the highlight of Winter Vacation 2013, oh btw I proposed to my GF on Christmas and she said yes!!!
