Here's my second ever story. Hope you enjoy!

There is a new hope as four friends, Waj, John, Johnathan and Liam are released from a prison in Kansas, USA. They were planning to be staff at a football club before being sent to prison for theft. Waj would have become the manager, with Liam as his assistant, and the others as his coaches.

Saturday, at some point in August 2013

Around 10:30ish.

"Christ!" I shouted, as I saw the newspaper headline.
"What?" my friend Liam asked. He had just gotten out of bed and was pulling on a t-shirt as he came downstairs. It wasn't a good look.
"Ronnie Moore has walked out of Tranmere!" I replied.
"Wow, I thought he was happy there. That's a bit of a shock," Liam said.
"Do you know what this means?" Said my other friend, John Kerr, who had been down here since about 5 in the morning, apparently.
No one answered, so he continued, "It means we can go for the job!"
"Oh, fuck, I forgot about that! I'll go wake John Eastbound..." said Liam.

Little did we know that it was to be a very difficult month for us.

We were having a shit time job-hunting. We had been rejected by Watford, Bury, Charlton, Wigan, Hartlepool, Bradford and Stockport fucking County! We were actually rejected by Stockport! Who are in the CONFERENCE NORTH! The Football League is what we're aiming for. But I don't think we'll get it; not the way things have been going.
good, so far. good start and good idea starting off in prison, i will read;)

We had just come back from a night out and the lads were stoned (ever since I came out of prison, I hadn't touched a drop of alcohol). Just then, the phone rang. I picked up.
"Hello? Waj Urugur speaking!" I said.
"Mr Urugur," the voice down the line began," this is the Tranmere Rovers board. So far, you are the only one who has submitted an application."
"Does that mean... does that mean I'm hired?"
"No, you daft sod, you'll need an interview first!"
Oh, yeah, forgot about that. When will it be?"
"Err... next Wednesday."
"Great, thanks."
I hung up. Liam threw up. No-one cleaned it up.

I'm hired! The boys used this as an excuse to get pissed again. I'm living with a bunch of alcoholics!!!

League 1:

Leyton Orient 1-8 Tranmere Rovers

Kits:

After the Leyton Orient match:

"So, boys, what did you think of that?" I asked them, in a pub after the match.
"Great! I never thought that The Orient were that bad!" said Liam, sipping his drink.
"From what I heard they were on track for promotion. We were tipped for relegation," said John Eastbound.
"I know its early days yet, but we were 4-0 up at half time. I think we'll get promotion!" said Kerr.

This time, only Liam and John Kerr got drunk.
Great start of the story. I like the prison concept

In League One...

Tranmere Rovers 4-1 Port Vale

Kits

Saturday, 3rd September 2013

A few hours after the match...

We were in the pub again. As I didn't drink, I was forced to order myself a cranberry juice, a bit like in Hot Fuzz, only I was the prisoner, not the policeman.
We were arguing.

"You said that Bakayogo was crap and that we should sell him, but he put two past Port Vale today!" I said at John Kerr.
"But, had we sold him, we would have brought Jake Cassidy in from Wolves with the money we got!" He said back. There was a tone of anger in his voice.
"We don't need Cassidy; we've got Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro, who scores as many goals as we nee... oh shit. It's probably about time that we left..."
"Why?" asked Liam.
We all told him to turn round. He knew why straight away.

The man who had just entered the pub was Ben Sheppard.

The same night

Not sure what time; clock stopped working

Let me tell you, the readers, a bit about Ben Sheppard. He was a fellow inmate at our prison, and he was a total cunt. He was our enemy; him and his sidekicks Pauker, Zapdos, Seni and Justice. To be honest, I didn't mind Zapdos and Seni, but Pauker, Justice and of course Sheppard himself were twats of the highest order. He also had another 'friend', Merv, but he was killed after trying to escape from the courtyard.
