People of FM Scout, it is with great honour that I get to present this year's Story of the Year. Many months of SOTM Competitions have passed, and it is now time for the most highly anticipated competition at FM Scout to get underway!

I have put together a team of very fair judges to nominate the stories which they believe deserve to be in contention for this year's Story of the Year award. The judges for this year's Story of the Year are: Nick, Neal, The Madridista, Louis O., Pauker, Rablador and Blue. After a long period of considering which stories should be nominated, we came down to just seven stories, and these seven are all nominated for this year's poll. Which stories made it to the grand event? Time to find out!

k1rups' Remi Garde: Reclaiming The World

Neal's Giuseppe Bergomi - The King of Calcio

Glenn T's David Beckham: From Hero to Zero

The FM Rookie's KuPS - The Rocky Road To Glory

Justice's Vauxhall Motors - The Path To Power

Blue's Lothar Matthaus - Forza Milan

or.dabool's Boreham Wood - Going All The Way!

So these are the seven stories who were nominated by the judging panel, but who wins the award? Well, that's up to you, the public, to decide. Vote in the poll for the story which you believe deserves to win the award. The poll ends when FM14 is officially released, so get voting!

Good luck to the contestants, thank you to the public who vote in this competition, hopefully this year's competition will be an exciting one! It is now time to vote, may the best story win!

Holy shit this is hard. Well every single on of these stories deserves it and I hope that this time next year I may be up there but well done to all.

I have read every single one of them thoroughly except Rookie's but I have had quick glance at it and I know it was very good.

I enjoyed them all but it is a tough choice but my vote has to go to Justice. His story was s
one that I followed from start to finish. I feel that because it went on for much longer than or's it gets the vote. All of them were great stories and I hope we have another year of excellent stories.
Wow, what a wonderful honor to be nominated. Thank you all so much :)

Every single one of those stories I've read all of, and every single one of them is absolutely top class. Each of them deserves this nomination 100%, and I had a ridiculous difficulty choosing.

It came down to Justice's story, Rookie's story, and Blue's story, but in the end I just had to choose Vauxhall Motors - The Path to Power.

I will never forget the rise of the crappiest club in England to the greatest club in the world and turned Obi Anoruo from shite to the first player to score in the top 6 leagues of England :P

Well done all of you, I can't wait to see who wins :D

Seriously? Immature, to be honest.

I must say that this year is by far the hardest SoTY I've ever seen in the site's history (not saying that previous stories were bad) and it will be a hard to choose from all of these stories, whether they were stopped ages ago, or recently. To all the nominated stories, MAY THE BEST WINNER WIN!
Toughest decision in relation to FM, even topping when I had to make a decision on whether I should of let Casarini go to Man City in my Accrington save, but my vote has to go to Krupesh's Remi Garde: Reclaiming The World as it had so much detail in every update and the storylines were ace every update. I think we all missed it when it went.
I've added my own option-

Other which = Patrick's QPR/ England story ;)
On a serious note lol it has to be either Justice's story or Glenn's which is the 2 I've been following! I can't pick lol.
Wow, these stories are nothing short of class. It was really hard for me to choose. For me, It came down to Neal and Ben, but In the end I chose Neal's story, because It truly was a story that I followed throughout the whole year, and I enjoyed every update
Since being a member on the site I've only actually read Justice's properly. But I just looked through majority of them and I loved FM Rookie's KuPS loads, so that's where my vote went, sorry Niko;D
All of these stories were brilliant, but Neal's was the first I read when I joined the site... So much effort into each and every post, good luck to everyone else but my vote goes to Neal..

Congratulation to all nominated.
Some truly epic stories to choose from.

I am not sure why I get this message “You've already voted for this poll” when it’s the first time I open the poll?

So difficult :O All great but I can't make my choice, especially between Justice, Neal and Glenn!
Benn a great year for FMscout story writers, I know this has been my first year of really being active on the site but all the stories mentioned above are truly magnificent.

My vote however goes to Justice for his Vauxhall story. A great achievement and did well to stick at it for so long. To be honest though I'm suprised Glenn hasn't got as much votes as I thought he would, another fantastic read.
I haven't been active for the past month or so but as soon as my exams are over I will start coming back on here more or less everyday. Louis informed me of this poll and it was really difficult to choose. There are 3 stories up there that I followed so closely, that was Justice's, K1rup's and Glenn's. I have to give my vote to Glenn. I remember everything about it so well and that's because it was so good.

Sorry to everyone else because no matter who wins it would be a fair result and finally congratulations to all of those who have been nominated.
