About the story

OK. I admit, this story is the result of a bored man. I already managed EPL clubs, npower league 2 clubs and even Liga adelante clubs. So I decided to take a club from the Blue Square Bet South all they way to be Europe's top club.

This story will be a bit different than my A.C. Milan one. This will lean more towards the game itself than the fictional story all around. There will be less graphics and media, but more shocking results :)

Why Wood?

For the story I chose Boreham Wood. Why them? Their logo and uniform looked nice. That's all. Boreham Wood's Info:
Boreham Wood F.C. are a football club based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, England, at Meadow Park football ground. They were established in 1948, and have reached the FA Cup 2nd Round proper twice in their history. For 2012–13 they will play in Conference South. They are affectionately known as "the Wood" (Not Boreham) and retain a local rivalry against St Albans City.

About the manager

The name I will use for my manager is Joshua Morris. Completely fictional, completely unrelated. Joshua, Born on 6.12.1972 is an unknown English manager. Wood is his first job.

First update will come soon! Stay tuned~

The Start

When I arrived to the club I first checked my budget. Wood have a decent budget of nearly £5,000 per week. Not bad, not bad. I don't intend on paying transfers fees, only use free transfers so it's nice. It's enough to back the team up.

After I took a look at our squad I realized two main things.
1) We have a BAD goalkeeper. And I really don't want to concede a lot of goals this season. So our top priority in the transfers aspect is to get a better goalkeeper.
2) We have a pretty good squad overall, but a small squad. We need to bring some new faces to back up our starting players.

But before I jumped into the transfers, I took a quick look at our staff. Only one scout, and he was awful. And a bad physio as well. So I fired my scout, and got these guys in:

Head Scout - Marcus Young
Young is Wood's new Head Scout. He got 11 JPA which is awesome for us.

Scout - Matthew Davies
Cheap good scout to help Young. Got 10 JPA and it's really good.

Coach - Michel Pensee Billong
A really good coach that will help us a lot. Also, the fact that he is from Cameroon contributes to our scouting range.

Physio - Ewan Fairgreave
A good physio with 11 in Physiotherapy. Can help our injured players recover quick.

WOOH!! Another or story! If its 10% as good as the last one, it will be the best on this site again! :P
Mate, I am giving up on my lecce story, its just impossible. 2 months in and the finance was way off. -3million off. I am going to start a BSN/BSS story as well. considering we are starting at nearly the same time, this should be fun :)
Guys, thank's for the support. I just want to mention my many thanks to Akash who helped me figure the LLM world out. You rock, Akash!
Or, The LLM king here is ready to help you too :)
Or, you should write a book :P

Tactics

So here we are, ready to start our season. But before we can dive into the action, we need a set of quality tactics. Here are my three tactic for the season:

First tactic - 4-1-3-2 Control

Second tactic - 4-2-3-1 Dominating Tactic

Third tactic - 4-2-2-2 Wonder Tactic

Pre Season

Well, my assistant took over the friendlies and the results are.. well.. bad. But who cares? It's only money making friendlies.

August-September update

Finally, the kick off day. I am really exiting to test the new squad in our league. After all, we are running for promotion!

Awesome first two months. Except one lose and one draw, all wins. Our squad is playing very good and at the moment, we are dominating. We also played an FA Cup 2nd qualify round against North Greenford. We won, and got £4.5K for that. These FA Cup games are really important because we are getting a nice money boost from them.

Our top player in those two months was Ömer Rıza who scored 8 goals and made 4 assists in 8 games. With an average rating of 8.06, he's simply unstoppable.

The league table looks pretty promising as we are comfortably lying in the 1st place. Still, it's early in the season to start dreaming about promotion.

As always, read, enjoy and stay tuned for more~
