Middlesbrough appoint new manager
Boro Chairman Steve Gibson confirmed yesterday that Icelandic Manager Gunnar Stahl will become the clubs newest manager for the club. The 29 year old signed a two year contract a few days ago. Previously he spent is coaching and management career with Stjarnan FC of the Úrvalsdeild. During his two years with the club he won the Icelandic Cup in 2014 and the Super Cup in 2015. One of his biggest accomplishments was that he lead the club to the playoff round of the UEFA Europa League.

Stahl was also linked with SkyBet Championship club Leicester City as well as a few Icelandic clubs. Also he will be leading the 20th placed Middlesbrough as their first foreign born manager.
