Final Table
So I forgot to do a few things for August and that means a joint update. The start of the month was not that great but hey we improved. Sadly we were nowhere making first place so we settled for second. I am proud of the team and hopefully next year we can win.

Middlesbrough appoint new manager
"This is a very important day for me and I'm delighted to join a club with such big facilities and support, my goal is to get the club to the Premier League"-Gunnar Stahl
Stahl was also linked with SkyBet Championship club Leicester City as well as a few Icelandic clubs. Also he will be leading the 20th placed Middlesbrough as their first foreign born manager.

"Gunnar, during your time with Stjarnan there was a lot of issues between you and many of the players especially towards the end of you tenure there, what happened and are you worried that this will happen again?"
"So I feel it was mostly because we (Stjarnan) were a semi pro side plus the team expected to win every game, I am not one to blame but we could have had two titles if the guys played better defense, it hurt me at the end of the season when they had a players only meeting and everyone who had their contracts run out would not re sign. It shouldn't happen here since we are professional and these guys know their place."
"Who are you looking forward to working with the most?"
"Joey Barton, many don't respect him but I do, he is misunderstood by the public in my opinion and is a hell of a player. I am very excited to work with a legend such as him."
"Legend are you serious??"
"Absolutely, next question!!!"
"What are your goals this season?"
"I want to get this team to either mid table of the playoffs, there are some areas we need to improve and I feel I can in the next two windows."
"Do you like the place so far??"
"Yeah the club and city are very nice, Steve and the upper management have been very helpful."
