Now in this match we didn't do much to our normal standards, it was a hard team to crack and defend against, I would of hoped we could have scored another.

It was confirmed that Columbus Crew sent 80k over to D.C United for a International Slot for 1 year. This could mean that Columbus are looking to get a foreign player. However, this is just speculation, no other official contact has been made with any other player yet though.
Columbus Crew Vs Chicago Fire
Ok a stalemate, wasn't what I had in mind. No one could finish today because it was a rough game with everyone tackling and great defense from both sides. We haven't beat Chicago this season and Chicago haven't beaten us.

It was reported that Chad Marshall was playing with a injury near the end of the game with Columbus Crew and Chicago with a groin strain. He is going to be treated by the Columbus physio's and is going to be out for 3 weeks.
Columbus Crew also got two additions added to their Squad. Matt Hedges who was in the substitutes during the Chicago game was acquired for 75k and rights to Marcos Gonzalez, it seems he will be the one to replace Chad Marshall.
Before the Chicago match we predicted that Columbus was going to get a international player, and we were right. After the Chicago match Xavier signed Matias Sanchez who was a free agent who in the start of the season was let go by Columbus, because there was lack on IS's.
Columbus Crew Vs San Jose (U.S Cup)
I don't know what was on my mind when I tried to give Andy his chance and he blew it. The U.S Cup only can have 5 foreign players in your Match Day Squad. I had to leave out some players because of that rule and we payed for it.

Sporting Kansas City Vs Columbus Crew
I was almost ripping my hair out in this match, we couldn't score until very late on, we didn't put much of a fight in scoring until the end of the match, they even had two injuries but Higuain does great to get a late winner in the 87th minute.

Manager's Note
The start of the month we did better then most of the teams. Towards the end however we somehow lost the ability to score. I don't know why but we lost against San Jose because of it, drew against Chicago, Montreal, we even barely beat Sporting Kansas City... I'm suprised we are still even first after our downfall of the month. I got two new players to help but Matias got injured in a reserve match on the 30th for 3 weeks so that's very bad for him as he just got back into the club. Matt Hedges was a good backup that I got just incase, and I was right. Higuain didn't do his usual dominance towards the last matches either and we need to fix some things in July.
