This is one amazing story! :D

FULL BACK WOES FOR MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United are down to their bare bones with the news that Rafael da Silva and his twin brother Fabio da Silva are both out with injury and will miss some very important games for Manchester United.

Jonny Evans is capable at playing left back as Patrice Evra is still out with an injury.
Phil Jones and Chriss Smalling can play right back, however if one of them gets injured then there will be some worries for Manchester United in the future.

MANCHESTER UNITED CRUISE PAST BAYERN

Manchester United defeated Bayern Munich at Old Trafford by 6-4 on aggregate.
In the previous meeting, the result was 4-4 in an entertaining game, however Manchester United showed their class and taught Bayern Munich how to finish by winning at Old Trafford 2-0.

Right from kick-off, creative midfielder Shinji Kagawa got Manchester United off to a flying start by scoring from close range in the first minute.
Robin van Persie made it 2 when he scored from 25 yards out, which flew over Manuel Neuer and dropped into the bottom corner.

Bayern Munich had numerous chances however they either missed or David de Gea saved them.

Manchester United head off into the semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain who they will play away from home first.

Manchester United Manager David Beckham:
"I am very happy with the result today, the lads play amazing, we are very excited to play in the semi-final but we cannot get ahead of ourselves as Paris Saint-Germain are a very strong team."

Bayern Munich Manager Pep Guardiola:
"I am very angry at the team, we did not play well and I am really disappointed."

April Report

Southampton 1 - 3 Manchester United

Robin van Persie 6' 35' 89'
Pablo Osvaldo 77'

Robin van Persie with yet another hat-trick! He's on course for another golden boot award! A great result but it doesn't really matter as we've won the league.

SEMI FINAL
Manchester United 2 - 0 Cardiff

Robin van Persie 11'
Antonio Valencia 20'

Solid victory which see's us go into the final of the FA Cup!

Manchester United 2 - 1 Arsenal

Jack Wilshere 11'
Robin van Persie 35'
Darren Fletcher 59'

Great comeback against a strong Arsenal team, van Persie was excellent and Darren Fletcher getting us the winner! Remarkable!

West Brom 1 - 1 Manchester United

Jonas Olsson 30'
Javier Hernandez 37'

We didn't play well but it doesn't matter! We've won the league, so a point here doesn't concern me at all.

Manchester United 1 - 1 Fulham

Ashkan Dejagah 31'
Javier Hernandez 56'

Again, like the West Brom result, it doesn't matter however slightly concerned that we've drawn against two teams we should be winning.

MANCHESTER UNITED TO FACE CHELSEA IN THE FA CUP FINAL

Manchester United will face Chelsea in the FA Cup final which will be one of the biggest games this season.
Manchester United have won 3 of the 5 trophies on offer to them this season, and with them being in the final here and in the Champions League they could well be on their way to having one of their best ever seasons.
Chelsea have been very solid this season under Jose Mourinho however speaking to Sky Sports News directly, he has said:

"It will be a tough game against an in-form United side, it will be an entertaining encounter but with my experience in cup finals, and David Beckham being inexperienced, I reckon we can edge it and win."

United have beaten Chelsea once this season in a 5-0 thrashing at Old Trafford

AC: Hello and good afternoon to you all, today we see the Champions Manchester United face Chelsea at Wembley Stadium to win the FA Cup, along side me today are Roy Keane, Lee Dixon and Gareth Southgate.
So, Manchester United have won the League and the Capital One Cup, can they make it three today?
They are facing a solid Chelsea side, and this fixture has gave us good entertainment in the past.

-VT rolls on previous encounters-

AC: So, Roy, who would you make favourites to win today?

RK: Well, they are both in great form, however I think United will edge this one, throughout this season they have been solid and undefeated, I reckon a 1-0 victory.

AC: Thank you Roy, and Lee, before I speak to you, we have confirmation of the teams.

Manchester United

Chelsea

AC: Lee, looking at the teams, which is the stronger?

LD: Tough one, Chelsea have some expectational players with the likes of Juan Mata and Eden Hazard, and United with van Persie and Gundogan, but for me, Chelsea.

AC: Okay, and finally Gareth, who would you make favourites to win?

GS: United all the way, Chelsea may have the stronger squad but nothing is better than confidence and self belief which all the United players have.

AC: Okay, we would be speaking to the managers now, however kick off is moments away so both managers are unavailable, so without further ado, lets head over to our commentators Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend...
Not the biggest fan of Man Utd, but have enjoyed reading this one, good luck in the chelsea game!

-Whistle goes-

5 minutes:
CT: Manchester United are dominating the early stages here, Carrick plays through Valencia, Valencia drills a cross, oh! What a great save from Petr Cech, if he let that past him it would be 1-0 united as van Persie was waiting at the back post!

24 minutes:
CT: Mata, plays Oscar into space, Oscar, keeps running, threads through Hazard! A great tackle from Nemanja Vidic!

AT: Classic centre half tackle there!

45 minutes:
CT: David de Gea takes a goal kick, forward to Gundogan, Gundogan, in space, finds Nani, Nani, great dribbling, past David Luiz! Shoots! Oh, just over the crossbar! Unlucky, and that calls time to the first half!

HT: MANCHESTER UNITED 0 - 0 CHELSEA

CT: The teams are back out, now to start the second half!

AT: Been great entertainment so far! But, will anyone make the breakthrough?

60 minutes:
CT: Again, it's all United, with van Persie's shot! HANDBALL! Just outside the area! van Persie has placed the ball down, he's 25 yards from goal, van Persie with the run up! Great save! Petr Cech!

AT: Solid goalkeeping from Petr Cech!

75 minutes:
CT: In the last 15 minutes here, van Persie plays through Jones, Jones to Gundogan, Gundogan floats the ball in, HANDBALL! That is surely handball! The referee has GIVEN THE PENALTY! THE CHELSEA PLAYERS ARE PROTESTING, BUT IT WAS A CLEAR HANDBALl!

AT: DEFINITELY A HANDBALL, IT WAS VERY CLEAR!

CT: van Persie steps up to take the penalty.... AND SCORES! 1-0 MANCHESTER UNITED!!!!!

AT: What a great penalty, top corner, no chance for Petr Cech!

90 minutes:
CT: Oscar, to Hazard, back to Oscar, to Lampard who shoots! Over the crossbar! And that is surely it! IT IS! MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE WON THE FA CUP!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!

AT: Well done Manchester United, and congratulations David Beckham!

- Whistle blows for full time-

Oh my God, I cannot believe it, we've actually won!
I went over to shake Jose Mourinho's hand and I wanted to say that he was unlucky today, however Mourinho being Mourinho went straight down the tunnel, followed by the majority of the Chelsea team, only Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole were still on the pitch shaking hands with my lads.

I walked over to both Frank and Ashley and shook their hands, then Frank said:
"Well done David, you deserved it today!" He then went off down the tunnel.
I turned to Ashley, he said:
"Like Frank just said, Congratulations on winning!" He then followed Frank Lampard down the tunnel.

I started to walk around Wembley with the team, clapping at our fans who came to support us today.

Then it was time to collect our trophy, however firstly the Chelsea team came out again followed by a red faced Mourinho, who then went up to collect his medal alongside his team.

Then the announcer said:
"And now, the winners, MANCHESTER UNITED! Please make your way up to collect your medals!"

I followed the lads towards the steps, the fans surrounding the stairs all had their hands out trying to high five us all, I gave as many of them a high five as possible, before making my way up towards the stand.

One by one we walked over to collect our medal, and soon enough, it was my turn, I looked up and saw Sir Alex Ferguson, who said to me:
"Well done David, I knew you could bring this club success!" Then he shook my hand and gave me my medal.

We finally got our trophy, Nemanja insisted that both me and him would hold the trophy up together, which we did, a huge roar filled the stadium from our fans!

The whole team partied all through the night, I joined them but soon enough I went back home to prepare for our next final, against Real Madrid in the Champions League!

Anyway, Thierry, as you've played in the final of the Champions League, how do you think the players are feeling right now?
