So is seven points from 12 a good return? Well it doesnt actually matter because we just needed to make sure that we got more points than Southampton. Our first match was against Barnsley, they were fantastic against us so to be able to get a draw out of them was a fantastic result. Rodriguez and Jedvaj had us 2-0 up but it was pegged back very quickly and at half time I was angry, very angry with the team and when Barnsley made it 3-2 I could have cried but Jamie Knightingale equalised to mean a draw and a solitary point.

We then got destroyed by Leeds. We took the lead from a corner through Vaclav Zajicek but Leeds kicked into gear and were 4-1 up at half time. We then conceded yet another goal and then Cirjak scored to make it 5-2 but we were absolutely awful!

The Watford game we were lucky to excape with a draw. They took the lead on the 2nd minute but Antonio Cirjak equalised on the 18th minute with a lovely cross-come shot. At half time I told them to buck up there ideas. Both sides hit the woodwork in the second half but I will admit we were second best throughout.

We then played MK Dons knowing a win would give us pole position in the race for 4th place. On the second minute Gajski scored a free kick to get us off to a wonderful start. On the 19th minute we scored a second through American Morgan Thomas from a corner through a header. He made it 3 on the 42nd minute through another headed goal from another Pingoto Corner. At half time i told them to keep hold of the lead. They hit two in 5 minutes though to make it 3-2. Then Rodriguez volleyed a 4th from Pingoto's cross and then MK Dons made it 4-3 but on the 85th minute against the run of play Rebic scored another goal for us and Rodriguez made it SIX. We were fantastic and I am happy.

League Table

We are in 4th but if we new how not to concede we could be challenging for the title!!! We have scored the most but let in 70 goals!

Verdict

It is very important we make the Champions League because a lot of the players are wanted by big clubs! If we make it then I can fend them off. If we don't I will have problems.
Congrats for securing Europa League qualification mate!
At least you're in Europe!
AAN Thanks i need to make sure it is the Champions league now

Tyler Yeah I am in Europe! Big improvement :)
Congrats on securing European qualification :)
Hopefully though you can qualify for the Champions League!
Pompey Thanks Pompey means a lot and I will try to secure Euro Qualification

Last Game Of The Season Preview

Final Day Preview

Elland Road will become the focus for attention this weekend as Champions Cup semi-finalists Arsenal travel to Leeds in search of the Premier League title. Next Season McDonalds take over the sponsorship so to win the last Barclays Premier League Title would be special. Leeds, however need to win if they are to secure survival.

Elsewhere, Capital One Cup semi-finalists Nottingham Forest play Capital One Cup holders Manchester City at The City Ground. If Forest win they will play in the Champions league for the first time since 1979/80 season. Manchester City could move up to finish second though if they win.

Lastly Barnsley face Liverpool at Oakwell. With Barnsley safe, Liverpool need to win to not have to worry about matches elsewhere.
Wow! A very tough game for you against City!
Hopefully Newcastle and Southampton lose though and you will still qualify for the Champions League!
A win against City would be great though :)
City could be tough
loving this story havnt read in ages and have just caught up
also how are my beloved brighton doing?
Good luck(you'll need it against city)
Also the Mcdonalds premier leauge, really?

Keegan's Notes

The final day of the Barclays Premier League saw a total of 387,215 fans turn out around the Country to witness one of the most entertaining final days in about 15 years. With ten matches and 26 goals scored, the best viewing was to be found at Oakwell where a crowd of 23,287 witnessed a shock result during Barnsley's 2-0 victory over Liverpool which actually sent them down and back into the Championship again.

Elsewhere, Davide Valli scored an audacious lob during Nottingham Forest's 2-0 defeat against Manchester City and 74,990 watched Manchester United's 2-2 draw with Southampton where Jason Gormley scored the pick of the goals with a finish tucked away with consummate ease. Newcastle gave away two late goals and lost the chance to finish 4th. So amazingly Nottingham Forest have finished in forth place!!!

Yes! we have done it amazingly despite Manchester City completely outplaying us we are in the Champions League but I need to do some serious investing in players for next season to sompete at the highest level. It does however feel good to be back in the best competition in Europe.

My Croatian players will now be staying put! I will sell a few players but watch this space I have a couple of marquee signings!

That is the end of another season.
