Two Off For City As Forest Run Riot!

Adam Williams played his part as super-sub today for Forest as we came from behind to defeat a ill-disciplined Man City side on a breezy evening at The Brian Clough Arena.

Cultured midfielder Dzenis Duvnjak got Man City off to a flyer on 1 minute by scoring an accurate finish after just 38 seconds. It was a awful start for us but it was about to get better.

Manchester City midfielder Soufiane Benali received the red card for a professional foul with 10 minutes played.

Forest's equaliser came through Luke Shaw as he seized on Henry Roldan's mistake to score a placed shot from close range. Midfielder Enrique Diez then put The Reds infront deservedly so in 72 minutes with a well timed finish from close range.

Man city then received another red card when Santiago Noriega was dismissed after 80 minutes for a truly vicious foul. Striker Adam Williams finally rounded off their victory on the 86th minute with a well stuck effort.

Wayne Smith put in a Man Of The Match performance with a committed display and showed good awareness to set up a goal. The Right-Back's impressive timing of the challenge was very much evident in this impressive display.

Forest Taught A Valuable Lesson In Portugal

We had a very good month this month even though we got spanked in Portugal 5-2 by Porto.

The Man City match has already been spoke about but before I speak about the matches this month, I wanted to update you on the whole board poking there noses in situation. I think that there has already been a £32,000,000 deal put in place for Gabriele Ghedin to move to Chelsea, our title rivals. I mean are they insane!!?!?!?!?! IF your going to do this sort of thing then sell abroad, or even better dont sell a star player in the first place.

I have told Gabriele that he can reject it but I do not think he will and I would not blame him because the board have shown him a total lack of respect. So the whole team now knows I will not be continuing at the end of the season, I will not retire mind, I will look a the options available to me as there are going to be plenty of teams after me!

So this month started off with us putting 5 past Maccabi Tel-Aviv. Colin Kyle and Gabriele Ghedin had us 2-0 up after just 2 minutes. Diez, who I have moved to Attacking midfield then made it 3-0 with Keegan making it 4-0 just before half time. I told the guys that we will qualify if we can hold on and although they got one back Jamie made sure of it 12 minutes from time in what was an amazing victory for us.

We then defeated Bolton in easy fashion. Adam Williams got a brace and Ben Wise scored an own goal. Vaclav Zajicek scored for Bolton against his former club. I have a lot of respect for Vaclav and I am happy he is getting first team football.

We then suffered a massive 5-2 defeat from Porto. Porto who are still outsiders to make the knockout phase of the competition did there chances the world of good and now will hope we can beat Bayern again and they should win against Tel-Aviv.

We then also drew with West Brom but all in all a fantastic month again.

McDonald's Premier League Table

I told you all that Chelsea had pulled away too early and we have hunted them down and actually missed a chance to go top when we only drew with West Brom. Bolton are doing amazingly well this season. Derby are establishing themselves well too. It is good to see Spurs and Liverpool outside the relegation zone too.

Champions League Group F Table

Well as you can see we are top of the group and secure in the Knockout phase but we need atleast a draw against Bayern to secure top spot and it will secure a so called easier draw in the next round. With clubs like Olympija from Slovenia looking to be going through it will be important to stop Bayern topping the group.

Forest Player Of The Month

John Keegan is starting to get watched now by Roberto Mancini, the England manager and he deserves a chance because he and Morgan Thomas are performing fantastically well this season but he just gets the nod for the Player Of The Month.

Upcoming Matches

Our schedule for December is insane! We have 9 matches including a East Midlands Derby, A Capital One Cup Quarter Final against Sheffield United and a important Champions League match against FC Bayern. The matches against Fulham and Manchester United are just 2 days apart. This month will decide if Forest is going to have an amazing last season for me or if it will be a blow out.
The beginning of the month was very good. I think that and will be a limited season as begun. Oooo what busy month follow ! Good luck !
Things are shaping up to be good. I hope to see you first soon.

Unbeaten Month, Except Champions League

Well, well, well! I could not have asked for better this month. We kind of let ourselves down against Bayern and lost our hold on first spot but we got lucky in the draw for the 1st knockout round.

It all started with a hard earn't victory over Southampton. We did go 3-0 up within 19 minutes but when they made it 3-2, we held on for 30 minutes to record a victory.

We then played the highly anticipated East Midlands Derby, in what was a tight affair. John Keegan scored from a corner in probably what was the best chance of the game. Derby huffed and puffed but nothing worked out nicely for them. Derby are reported to want to sign Will Hughes back in January and I think they could do with him to keep up there top half of the table position.

We then lost to Bayern. This was disappointing but we showed great fight to claw two goals back but we were really out of sorts. We got the qualifying spot though so nothing is bad really. It was definitely a learning curve for my men.

We then got victories against West Ham and Sheffield United in the Premier League and the Capital One Cup respectively. Piter was the man against West Ham, he scored twice to add to the O.G Zvonko Kovacevic scored for a easy 3-0 victory. The Capital One Cup was a harder affair as we had to wait until United had a sending off in the 67th minute which meant Sheffield could not hold on and a own goal from Moran and a second from Darmian meant we progressed to the semi finals.

Garbielle Ghedin then destroyed Leeds United with a stunning hat-trick and Leeds and there fans could not even believe the performance that Ghedin had put in. I was thrilled with the lad even though I think he is being sold by my retarded board in January.

We then also destroyed Arsenal, Fulham and Man Utd. The United match was so one sided it was unreal with Adam Williams haunting his former club again and Allegrini and Darmian giving us a 4-1 victory. Colin Kyle, Knight and Diez defeated Fulham very handsomely but it was the Arsenal match that was the most pleasing because Conte's men have been unreal in the last ten years but this was our best performance to date and when John Keegan got our second after another own goal by Flynn we new this could be one hell of a season!

McDonald's Premier League

We are in charge at the moment and top of the tree by 5 points! Arsenal are challenging but United and Chelsea are going to end our main challengers in my opinion. Bolton are 5th! Liverpool and Spurs are also doing amazing too.

Capital One Cup Draw

I wish we had drew Everton! We can beat Chelsea though for sure! This is going to be our year I know it.

Champions League Table and Draw

We ended up second but was still a lot better than last time. Bayern deserved to top the group in the end.

We got a good draw against Shakhtar and Real Madrid against Bayern is a big, big fixture.
Stuttgart have also made it and have been rewarded Arsenal and also a shout out for Barcelona who play Monaco.

F.A Cup Round 3

We play Ipswich in the third round of the F.A Cup but the team I am most impressed with is Gateshead who play Swansea City.

Forest Player Of The Month

There were so many people to choose from but Morgan Thomas is the complete defender. He has helped Keegan and Knight to become amazing and with an average rating of 7.80 for the whole month he wins the player of the month.

Upcoming Fixtures

We have a busy January again and the Capital One Cup Semi Final against Chelsea is a big one for us because I want to take these players to a Wembley Final. Ipswich should be a easy match too and I hope we can win all the Premier League matches this month.
First, just want to see you there! You'll have a tough match a Capital One. In CL you had a little bad luck, but I think you have the chance! Good luck.
Excellent month mate and a good lead you have at the top of the Premier League their!
Congrats on 10k views as well mate :D
Great month and a nice little lead going into the next month.
Bebero Yeah it will be a tough match in the COC but we will wait and see what happens!

Pompey Thanks. I am glad I have got 10000 views not many stories get that many.

Bayern Hell yeah, I wont let this lead slip!

Keegans Notes

Out Of The Cups, But Flying High In The League

Ok so lets forget about the Capital One Cup and the F.A Cup. We lost to Chelsea 3-0 at The Brian Clough Arena so the match was pretty much dead. We then defeated Ipswich but lost to Manchester United in the fifth round.

The Premier League however has been a whole different story. We defeated Everton 2-1 with Williams and Nightingale getting the goals. Aston Villa was then dispatches 2-1 with Keegan and Nightingale getting the goals again.

Then came the bullshit half way through the month when the chairman behind my fucking back agreed in principal to sell Gabriele Ghedin. I was fucking livid! He would move after the Swansea match and although was told he did not want to leave, agreed once he found out I was leaving at the end of the season. The deal was for £23,000,000 to Real Madrid.

Ghedin who had been with us for 5 years scored 41 goals for the club and will go on to be a huge success in the Spanish La Liga.

We then smashed Newcastle 4-0 with Diez getting a brace, Keegan scoring again and Ghedin also scoring for us. Newcastle were meant to be tough opposition but with Gabriele unhappy at the way me and himself had been treated he wanted to make sure we were top when he left.

We then utterly smashed Reading 5-1. I feel for Reading because they had established themselves as a top 10 side over the last three seasons but Piter and Nirvana both got braces and an o.g put them to the sword. Nirvana, who had been asking for a chance took it with both hands and I was mega impressed with him.

We then drew with Swansea which looked bad to start with but Arsenal could only draw with Villa. Gabriele Ghedin scored the equaliser on what would be his last start for the club.

McDonald's Premier League Table

If you had said to me at the start of the season after January you would be 7 points clear I would have laughed at you but I am. Antonio Conte and his Arsenal team are the only team that look like they can challenge me at the moment. I don't really care about the Capital One Cup and the F.A Cup because this is the holy grail, this and the Champions League in which I want to win that this season too.

Forest Player Of The Month

I could not give it to anyone else. Gabriele was a massive part of this season and I wish him all the best in Spain and hope my squad can hold the title challenge together. He is a legend here at Forest and one of my favourite players of all time.

Upcoming Fixtures

We should be able to dispatch Spurs and Stoke pretty easily but the last three matches are pivital. IF we can win them then we are going to see a special season for Forest.

Manager Rumours

Two clubs today came out and suggested that they MIGHT look to hire Keegan when he quits Forest at the end of the season.

Benfica president Jorge Pedrosa was the first person to suggest he would approach Keegan. Kevin is a World Cup winning manager. Look at what he has done for Nottingham Forest since he has been with them. The way he has been treated is awful but I will see if he is interested at the end of the season.

In the last 10 years Benfica have only won the Portugese League twice with Porto winning it every other time so it could be something Keegan would be interested in.

The other team to come out and say they are interested is a very interesting proposition.

Lyon Chairman John-Michael Auras made a shock announcement that he was considering getting rid of Czech Manager Pavel Vrba and was looking to try and entice Kevin Keegan to come and break the 20 year wait for a Ligue 1 title. Kevin is the ideal man that will build up a team over 2 or 3 years and then deliver a title. His work at Nottingham Forest is so good that I would be stupid not to approach him to take the job.

Now whether Kevin will move to France is another question but two team have now shown an interest in him so what will he do. We can not wait to find out.
I like the idea of both clubs wanting you. Both are very interesting and fun to manage
Both clubs would be good to manage, would you rather help Benfica regain their title or help Lyon dominate Ligue 1!
Caught up with this story from the start, I don't care I'm subscribing! It's brilliant mate, you're doing so well with Forest. IF your board sell Ghedin to Chelsea then I'm afraid it's just bad luck, but the clubs you've mentioned are great choices! Keep it up Keegan! ;)
