Fourteen Goals Scored This Month

This was a big deal for me! Once we had dispatched Celta 4-2 and then I was told to sit infront of the press and answer some questions.

Now to be honest I really could not be bothered and wanted to tell them to fuck off! But I did it and it was an interesting press conference. One of the best questions was Are you sad to see Nottingham Forest doing badly in the McDonald's Premier League?

I answered that I had no idea how they were doing because I am now the manager of Real Madrid! I actually go very bored with the press conference, very quickly so I just asked a pretty reporter woman if she was single and liked older men! Luckily for me she did not understand a word of English but the translater was translating it before I new it! After that strangely enough the press conference finished!

So we played the new boys Lugo away from home.

We absolutely pulverised them. Nirvana, who has been out of this world since joining from Forest scored in the 36th second of the match. Bogdanovic made it 2-0 and a brace from left back Jonathon Silve before half time put the match beyond doubt already.

Attacking midfielder Gonzalo Schenone made it 5-0 and Lugo got a consolation but Cristiano made it 6-1 and a nice clear victory.

We then entertained Villarreal at The Bernabou.

This was a fantastic match for the neutrals because there were goals everywhere. Jamie and Gonzalo got us up and running on the 42nd and 45th minutes with two wonderful free kicks.

Right Back Xisco Torres then smashed home a 30 yard stunner with Leleco scoring the 4th. That made it 4-3 to us but we could not hold on and had to come away with a 4-4 wonder draw.

Liga BBVA Table

We are one of eight sides not to have lost yet, but I still think we are the best squad in the whole division. Lugo and Guadalajara are definatly going to struggle.

Madrid Player Of The Month

Gonzalo Schenone has been magnificent ever since I have came here. He is at the moment the first name on the teamsheet.
Good looking graphics and I hope you don't lose.

Coulibaly Signs

Real Madrid fans had to wait almost all day for a deadline day signing, but Keegan had said all along that he would not just buy any old player.

There was a bid rejected by Arsenal as 'out of hand' for there prolific striker Ramon Rastoll. We did go in for the striker but Arsenal made it perfectly clear that they would not be selling him at this time. Despite this we went as high as €87m and it was still rected so we then went to target number two.

Amadou Coulibaly is a 23 year old player who has been bought for and initial €30m which could rise to as high as €51m.

Amadou is truly one of world's global superstars. He made his France debut when he was just 20 years of age in September 2025 against Finland. He has gone on to make 27 appearances and score 15 goals for his country.

Coulibaly started his career at Racing Club de Lens in March 2020, breaking into the first team in 2021 and made a total of 9 league appearances where he scored 5 goals. Coulibaly then joined Chelsea in July 2022 for €3.9m but failed to make a single appearance for the club. During this time he also spent time on loan at Braga, making 28 appearances and scoring 5 goals.

In July 2025 he joined Paris Saint-Germain for €31.5m and made 22 appearances and scored 8 goals. He won the Coupe de la Ligue in 2027, the French Cup in 2026, the French Champions trophy in 2026 and Ligue 1 in 2026.

In August 2027 he joined A.C Milan for €27m and made 21 appearances and scored 5 goals. Coulibaly's France Under 23's won Gold at the 2028 Olympic Games and then joined Real Madrid.

El Classico Build Up

So yeah, the form book can be thrown right out the window for this match. El Clasico is a match where anything and everything usually happens. In the last eight times these two sides have met, there has been 4 wins for Real and 4 wins for Barcelona.

This will personally be the first El Clasico I would have managed in, but I saw a few in my time as England Manager. Antonio Cirjak is also going to be playing for Bracelona in this match and I have a lot of time for him but John (Keegan) and Morgan (Thomas) know him well and how to handle him.

Home advantage should give us the edge in what will undoubtedly be a close encouter against the beaten Spanish Cup finalists.

Madrid is Even money favourite with 11/5 the draw and a Barcelona victory. Real Madrid are on a five match unbeaten run in La Liga but could tumble down the table is we fail to get a result and atleast a point and even drop below rivals Sevilla.

Iker Casillas also spoke to Worldsoccer.com and recalled the importance to El Clasico Derby to the Supporters.

Casillas speaks out about previous El Clasico matches

The atmosphere will be electric and that each and every player will need to be on the top of there game. Espeicially the new signings like Keegan, Thomas and Holm. If they are in form then I can see us winning this match.

former Manager Carlo Ancelotti has singled out defensive midfielder Catatau as the most influencial Barcelona player.

If he is given space to atack the ball and not marked properly then he will score goals but more importantly create them for other players.

Now I hope we have a fair, clean match but I highly doubt we would.
Ooooo man the suspense is building up!!! Sorry for this Jason but, GOOOO BARCA!!!:D

One Sided Result!

Real Madrid 4-1 Barcelona

The El Clasico Derby is meant to always be close. Barcelona and Real Madrid are two exceptional sides and it always means a goal here or a goal there is all it takes. The 2028 tie at Santiago Bernabau however was a different story.

Barcelona went for speed but were unable to use them to full effect on a fine summer's evening.

Line Ups For The Match

Real's new signing Oliver Holm gave Real Madrid the lead with a well timed finish on the 11th minute. It was fantastic interchange between Luke Shaw and Nirvana and it was Luke who used his experiance to get behind the Barcelona back four and cross for Holm to head home.

Ex-Forest striker Antonio Cirjak then equalised in the 31st minute with a tidy finish from 15 yards out. Real Madrid then were back in front 9 minutes later with a well timed finish by captain and new signing Morgan Thomas and it was 2-1 to Madrid at half time.

I told the guys that we are better than this Barcelona team and we have a chance to score more. It was a boring first half to the second half but on the 74th minute it came alive when Cirjak capitalised on Jelicic's lapse in concentration but could not beat Mathaus. Madrid then punished there arch rivals when Bogdanovic latched onto a header on the 84th minute to extend the lead further. Wonderkid Nirvana then finished the Catalans off with a lucky strike on 88 minutes.

19 year old Nirvana put in a Man Of The Match performance during this convincing 4-1 display.

The Madrid left midfielder put in a superb performance for his side and will be delighted he was able to cap his display with a goal. Nirvana completed the rout with a lucky strike but it was a bit of luck he deserved. The left midfielder's impressive display was in part down to the threat he cause on occasion to the opposition defence when he ran at them with the ball.

Supporter spokesman Ernesto Cama was also delighted with the victory. We were absolutely fantastic. I think every player should be proud of a performance like that! We new we had a chance to win but to win 4-1 is a wonderful feeling. Luke Shaw, Morgan Thomas and Nirvana got the highest marks in the fans vote for Man Of The Match.
awesome result mate! great work!

Mixed Fortunes For Keegan's Madrid

It was a interesting Madrid Derby at Estadio de Madrid. Holm and Ghedin led the line but it is the midfield that looks the most exciting of recent times with Englishman Jamie Nightingale, Brazilians Leleco and Nirvana and Argentine Gonzalo Schenone with Bogdanovic also in the mix.

We started sluggishly and it paid when Ghansah scored a penalty in the 4th minute to make it 1-0. That kind of shocked us into life and within 5 minutes we were level when Silva, who was in ahead of Shaw drilled in a cross for Leleco to hit the bar but the ball broke back to Silva who drilled home a cross-come-shot to make it 1-1.

At half time I bollocked them and we dominated the second half and then Paulo Victor who was a second half substitute scored on the 56th minute to send our fans delirious and win 2-1.

On the back of the victory in the league against Atletico and Barcelona we played the team who was joint top with us and had started very well this season in Real Betis and they were 2-0 up at half time and we were in dissaray.

Kwame Reid who was with me for a short time at Nottingham Forest chipped a delightful goal to set Betis on their way. Then a Pole named Robert Wybranowski got the second to send Betis in 2-0 up at half time. I did not say a word and did not even go into the changing room but I made three subs.

In the 54th minute after dominating we got ourselves back into the match when Nightingale's corner was vollied in by Morgan Thomas. Then Oliver Holm, a big money signing from Dortmund this season saved me. I will admit I am taking adapting to life in Spain a little harder than I was expecting but it is more sorting out a Europe formation than anything. Oliver Holm equalised in the 66th minute with a crisp left footed drive into the top right hand corner. I was happy enough that Holm had got me out of a hol ebut when he stepped up to take a free kick on the 74th minute I wondered why. why because he does not hit them well in practice but this was a screamer! He curled it around the wall and into the bottom right hand corner this time and it was in the end just a well deserved victory.

This match should have been so much better than it was. We had Thirty-three shots on goal and only got TWO shots on target and scored them both. It did not come until the second half but Gabrielle Ghedin and Oliver Holm again saved me. We have not played well but you know we are still winning. We played well against Barcelona and that was when it mattered.

LIGA BBVA Table

We are top by three points with Granada and Sociedad just behind. the bottom three should stay the bottom three for the season in my view.

VS

We were appalling. Other than Nivana playing amazingly well Stuttgart won every 50/50 ball and every loose ball. We completed deserved to lose.

VS
The Other match was against Dnipro away from home but yet again we came up short. I have no idea what to do in Europe but the match against Porto next month is vital, absolutely vital. If we can get a result then great. If not then I will fear for my job.

Champions League Table

We are bottom. Fucking bottom, ridiculous I need to find a winning formula in the Champions League and quick.

Madrid Player Of The Month

Nirvana was amazing this month and I wish every player would take his lead and perform in the same manner.

Upcoming Month

We have two matches against Porto in the Champions League this month and the LIGA BBVA are all winnable but I need ot get my team playing in the Champions League.
Impressive win against Barcelona, even is they are not doing so well in league so far! Unlucky results in C1 but with your domestic form you can only turn things around ;)
In a championship going very well, but do not understand the UCL, why get stuck?
Nice update, and good luck man !
