BECKS IN PARIS RETURN
Paris Saint-Germain has announced that former star David Beckham will return to the club to become an Under 19’s coach.
The news has been welcomed with open arms in France in a move that sees Beckham enter the world of coaching months after retiring from football as a PSG player.
The ex-England captain joins PSG at the request of the Ligue 1 champions’ boss Diego Maradona and Beckham has exemplified his excitement at entering a new chapter of his life.
“I’m delighted to return to Paris and see some familiar faces, although things are a lot different now that I’m about to become a coach.
“The opportunity arose so quickly but when I got the call from Diego, I’d didn’t think twice and I’m very happy to be back.
“Coaching has always been something I’ve been keen on doing and I guess the place where I ended my career as a player would be the ideal club to start a new chapter.”
Maradona is also happy to see Beckham take up the opportunity and believes his presence will bring a great lift to the club.
“Beckham is a phenomenal character and I think everyone that is passionate about football would love to have someone like him around.
“I don’t need to explain how much of an important figure he is; the fact that all of you journalists from all four corners of the globe are here to cover the arrival of a new Under 19’s coach shows just how massive Beckham is.
“Beckham is very different to your modern Englishman and one that I feel has a great knowledge of football. He’s worked under the best coaches as a player so he has more than a thing or two to share with our youth team.”
Beckham, who played over 500 times at club level and earned 115 caps for England, signs a five year that will keep him in France until 2018.
Oooooh, great update, man! Great to hear that Beck's is back. Let's hope he will be a good addition for your under 19's squad.

PSG’s Player of the Month
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Ibrahimovic has been faultless at times, as you’d expect. I’ve been given a bit of a selection headache with Cavani and Ibra at my disposal but at the moment, Ibra is that little bit ahead of the Uruguayan. He scored three goals this month, all of which were crucial for us and it’s a joy to have a player of his astuteness.
Maradona’s Verdict
It was a much better month for us and I can already see we are making positive strides with regards to familiarising with the new tactics. We’ve diminished our defensive issue which helped us win some important games this month such as against Bordeaux, Basel and Monaco. The players understand each other well and we are creating plenty of chances. We just need to tuck our chances away as a collective and put our opponents to bed.
Awesome update! can i come to the victory parade of the trophy?

Nice wins there, Rennes shouldn't be a challenger for much longer so you've essentially got a huge points gap already. Just one thing - Why on Earth did Gladbach sign Alexander Esswein?

PSG’s Player of the Month
Edinson Cavani
This month’s award goes to Cavani simply because he went goal mad in the last two games. He had a slow start as expected when you join a new club but I suspect he won’t look back beyond this point after an extraordinary month like this one.
Maradona’s Verdict
This month has been by far our best and it is just a snippet of the PSG I am trying to build; a ruthless team that thinks of nothing but scoring meanwhile guarding our goal with our lives. Five wins out of five, three huge results and I’m in dreamland.
