Managers Verdict

The start of the 2014 USL Pro season was really good, In the three matches we scored a total of eight goals and only conceded one. This team gels well together and it shows in both practice and in games. Joey Gjertsen is our player of the month. His three goals lead the league and I am impressed that he still has game at 31 years old. I am looking forward to our first match of April. We get to face our most hated rival Orlando City. Last season was when the rivalry really started when one of their players started a fight with our fans. I hope we cream them.
great start mate!

There is no promotion/relegation in the US man. I will get promoted with a new job in MLS hopefully.
Solid start :)

Managers Verdict

The Charlotte match was a very close call. Down 2-1 at the half I honestly didn't think we would make a comeback but we did. Already in May it feels like USL Pro goes by too fast especially since playoffs start in late August. On April 28th the draw for the US Open Cup occurred. We will either play Portland U23 or Laredo Heat. They also drew the MLS Clubs. If we win the first match we get to face the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Another fantastic month! Hopefully you will go through to face LA Galaxy, that would be a great way to test yourself!

Yeah I am hoping if I make it to them I can have a good match and no blowout.
Dominating the league already! Keep it up!

Youth was no match for experience on a breezy evening at City Stadium as a young Portland U23's side suffered a 2-0 defeat of an undefeated Kickers side.

Center back Luis Javier Alanis gave the Kickers the lead with a close range header in the 12th minute. An error from Portland's Evanildo allowed winger Stevens Koffie to score a well timed close range finish.

With the victory Major League Soccer powerhouse Los Angeles Galaxy will be traveling to Richmond. The match will be taking place on May 28th at City Stadium. If Richmond advances they will either face Wilmington or Houston.

Managers Verdict

We have been dominating the league and I think we will win the playoffs too when it comes to that time. The US Open Cup was pretty good to us. After beating Portland's USL Pro team we faced the Los Angeles Galaxy. That match was crazy since we almost pulled off the upset. We were so close but sadly lost, the team was in high spirits afterwards. With that we can now focus on the rest of the league.
