A solid start to the season. If only we didn't have so many injuries we could be doing better!
Our form has been way too inconsistent though. We get a win and then a loss. We need to start winning back to back games and going on unbeaten runs!
Hitting some decent form but still have chelsea city liverpool spurs newcastle west brom and hull to play this season so we might drop back down now

Well, an admirable loss against Chelsea and an unthinkable loss against Cardiff. Down to 8th now, Cocu, pick yourself up, we need to fight for those European places :D

CG's Player Watch

Hi and welcome to the first show of The Chairman Game's Player Watch. We have three players to focus on today, one Foreign Transfer, one Lower League Transfer and one Freebie Transfer.

So who will we report on first?

Paul, a £37,000,000 sign from Juventus has really started to show his worth at Swansea. He was a shock signing by the Welsh side but it is really starting to pay off with strong performances in the league which has got him into the French National Squad. He has 8 league appearances with an average rating of 7.33!

Former West Ham player Javier Hernandez joined Sunderland after his old club went down. Hernandez, who signed for West Ham for £20,000,000, was one of the birght sparks in an utterly awful campaign for The Hammers and moved to Sunderland for £17,000,000 and in his 5 league games has 5 league goals. He has an average of 7.62 and surely can only go from strength to strength.

Victor Valdes was picked up on a free transfer by Cardiff City after his Barcelona contract was not extended and as a free transfer Cardiff have managed to grab a steal on £51,000 a week. He has played 5 times this season and conceded 5 times too with an average rating of 6.96. Can he improve on that though? Either way Cardiff have a experienced international keeper in the ranks now.

A brilliant month for Liverpool boss Antonio Conte after winning 4 games out of 5 which they drew to Sunderland putting them in contention with top place if Sunderland let it slip.

Wigan's chairman is yet again proving he has a weakness at Cardiff and can't cope!

Perhaps he can't take the fact his ex fulham striker Mitroglu is scoring on a regular basis :P

In all seriousness, Solid progress being made genuinely thought we'd struggle so to keep picking up points and losing narrowly to better opposition is encouraging
