Three wins in a row! It's a f*cking miracle! Tim Sherwood, this is your last chance, and only because of that late run of results and our excellent form in the Europa League. My fucking god I honestly don't even know how we have managed to play so shit thus far.

SHERWOOD SACKED
Tottenham Hotspur's chairman Vladimir Putin left the following message on their official website.
"We've sacked Sherwood. F*ck's sake we've played like shit all year. This is a disgrace. That will be all."
This hasn't come as much of a surprise, with many people surprised that Sherwood even managed to last this long in the job despite having such a horrible start to the season with Tottenham. The London club, who boast the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kevin Volland, will need a spectacular second half of the season to turn things around.

THE SAVE
Releasing Players - Starts 09:00 AM GMT 20/3/14 and ends 18:00 GMT 21/3/14
If your wage bill needs trimming, or there's someone really bad who you know you can't sucker anyone into selling, now is your chance to get rid of the deadwood in your team! The rules are simple. You may release any player that you wish and the January cost is £0 per player You can release any amount of players you wish, but be careful; should you release too many players your squad may lose depth and your results may suffer. To set your players for release, you must send me and Louis O. a PM containing the list of players you would like to release.
You will then get all of that players wage.
Manager Blind Auction - Starts 09:00 AM GMT 20/3/14 and ends 18:00 GMT 21/3/14
For anyone that sacked there manager from after the season started you have 1 free bid as you already paid £5m to sack the manager.
You will have the chance to sign any manager you desire from any club by sending a PM to both me and Louis O. In this PM, you will specify the manager you want, the club he is from, and the wage that you are offering, which must be higher than his current wage. If somebody else bids for the same manager, the person with the highest wage offer will get the manager, so it is important that you offer a lot of money.
If you would like to change your manager then it will cost £5m out of your transfer budget and please send me the details stated above.
Foreign and Lower League Players - Starts 09:00 AM GMT 20/3/14 and ends 18:00 GMT 21/3/14
You may sign 2 foreign transfers and 2 transfers from the lower leagues in England, you must name the player and his club in a PM. In this PM you must also post the transfer fee you wish to pay, which must be over the player's value (see below).
You get one bid only as this runs the same way as the manager auction. Bid high if you feel someone else will be going for that player!
For the transfer fees of foreign and lower league players:
Players worth under £5m - You must pay at least £1m more than their default value.
Players worth between £5m and £15m - You must pay at least £5m more than their default value.
Players worth between £15m and £25m - You must pay at least £10m more than their default value.
Players worth between £25m and £40m - You must pay at least £20m more than their default value.
Players worth over £40m - You must pay at least £40m more than their default value.
Domestic Transfer Window - Starts 09:00 AM GMT 20/3/14 and ends 18:00 GMT 21/3/14
To sign a player from another team in your league you must contact the Chairman of that team and agree a value with them via PM or Private Chat. (You can then calculate their wage using one of the rules below) Both Chairmen will then need to PM me or Louis O. with the agreed transfer fee. You must screenshot the proof of the deal when you send it or it will not be confirmed!
If you wish to sell players then you need to post them in the thread as available. Other Chairmen can then make offers for them if they wish. If they are not sold to another Chairman in the league then I will set them as transfer listed in the game, this does not guarantee that they will be sold however.
1. If the transfer is below £5 million, then £10k will be added to the players' current wage.
2. If the transfer is between £5 million and £14.9 million, then £20k will be added to the players' current wage.
3. If the transfer is between £15 million and £24.9 million, then £30k will be added to the players' current wage.
4. If the transfer is above £25 million, then £50k will be added to the players' current wage.
Free Transfer Window Open - Starts 09:00 AM GMT 20/3/14 and ends 18:00 GMT 21/3/14
"All players are taken from FMRTE and are the highest Current Ability players available"
The free transfer market runs in a similar way to the foreign transfer rule. You need to send a PM to me or Louis of the wage that you will be offering the player. You have 1 bid for that player only so make it a good one! Bids have to be at least 10k
I have enjoyed reading this. Pretty great idea. I love how it gets the whole community involved. The snide chairman comments are gold, I've already had a ton of laughs.
Chairman Game Half Way Odds
Four bookies have got together to offer odds on who will win the League this season and who will get relegated.

Manchester United are installed as favourites with Sunderland, Liverpool, Swansea and Man City all apparently in with a shout.
West Brom look doomed but Spurs, in crisis might be worth a bet to get relegated.
There will be a piece from a journalist to do with the mirror shortly about all the main contenders for the Premier League Title
Chairman Game Capital One Cup Odds

With the Capital One Cup coming to a conclusion we look at the semi finals and the odds. Doncaster will be the focus first because they are in the latter stages on merit!
Managed by Paul Dickov they have defeated Villa, Newcastle, Fulham and Ipswich. There most impressive performance came in the 3-0 victory against Fulham who were boasting a starting line up of Byram, Boatang and Colbeck. Spurs however are having a shocking season but this has been a welcome distraction, with Sherwood fired, Doncaster could take advantage here and get to the final. Spurs though who have defeated Man City and Swansea you would think could handle Donny over 2 legs.
The tightest match though is Norwich against Stoke. Norwich have looked awesome this season they have had an easyish run into the semi final having to overcome just one Premier League side in Liverpool but are the bookies favourites except with SkyBet who put them third favourite.
Then you have Jordan Rhodes and Stoke City. They have overcome Forest, Sheffield United and Leeds to get to the Semi finals and are favourites to win it with SkyBet. I am not sure they justify that but if they can overcome Norwich then they will fancy there chances in the final.

Key Player: Robert Lewandowski
Manager: Joachim Low
Sunderland have surprised many with a brilliant start to the season that saw them stay unbeaten for 16 straight Premier League games. With future superstar Doria at the back, Sunderland were nearly impossible to beat, especially with Javier Hernandez and Robert Lewandowski having a combined total of 14 goals at the start of January. Sunderland have given up just 21 goals, second only to Swansea City, and as a young team, they will only get better. However, we've seen some poorer performances as of late, with 3 straight Premier League losses, the first of those coming against Newcastle and Stoke City, who are both relegation contenders. The third was a devastating loss to Swansea City at home, and critics are starting to doubt the Premier League's top team at the moment. We at the Mirror project Sunderland to fall of pace a little bit, and we see the Black Cats finishing 2nd, which Is still a great performance from a team projected to finish 8th at the beginning of the year.

Key Player: Xherdan Shaquiri
Manager: Gus Hiddnik
It's been another great year for Manchester United, who currently just sit 3 points behind Sunderland at the top. Gus Hiddnik has revived his career again at United, thanks to the performances of David Alaba and Xherdan Shaquiri, two new faces at Old Trafford this season. Shaquiri, who had 6 goals all of last season, already has 5 goals and 5 assists, to go with a brilliant 7.42 average rating. It's been Shaquiri and Rooney creating the goals, as the two have combined for 12 assists, and Juan Mata and Robin Van Persie have been finishing, as they both have 7 goals to their name. After a disappointing 2013/2014 campaign in which United finished 4th, the Red Devils have won some crucial games to show they are once again title contenders this season. In fact, United have beaten Arsenal, Chelsea, and local rivals Manchester City, the highlight being a 4-2 win at the Ethiad in which Van Persie bagged two goals. However, United are 0-3 against the other members of the top 4 this year, which accounts for half of their losses so far. However, it's hard to see anything but a Man Utd title this year considering their title opposition is unproven on the big Premier League stage. Xherdan Shaquiri and Juan Mata will lead Manchester United to the title.

After finishing 9th last year, Swansea City are off to a great start. They sit just 4 points behind Sunderland with a game in hand. With a victory over Arsenal on the 7th, they move just 1 points behind the Black Cats in 2nd. Swansea city have built their team on defense. They've conceded just 18 goals in 18 games, the best in the league, thanks to new Stars Toby Alderweirld and Hector Moreno. They've also been aided by 37M man Paul Pogba, who has 4 goals and 3 assists from the midfield. Wilfred Bony has managed to put away 9 goals, with Carlos Vela and Joseph Drmic have 5 goals. Vela however, looks to be on his way out. There's reported interested from Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Barcelona for the Mexican, who's one of Simeone's key players. Even without Vela, the Swans are a very good team. They've had impressive wins over Manchester United, Manchester City, and more recently Sunderland, and the Swans have been unbeaten for 12 games now. Before that though, Swansea lost 5 straight including losses to Norwich, Hull at Home, and finally, an embarrassing 3-0 drubbing by 11th placed Chelsea at the Liberty Stadium. Expect the Swans to stay right where they are in the table, in third place, right behind new rivals Sunderland.

Key Player: Luis Suarez
Manager: Antonio Conte:
Liverpool are right up where they were expected to finish, and they currently find themselves in 4th place, behind Swansea, Man Utd, and of course Sunderland. They've been aided by the wonderful performances of Luis Suarez, who's hit the back of the net 11 times already this year. Suarez, the top scorer this year, has the league's best midfield behind him. Liverpool boast the talents of Cesc Fabregas, Joao Moutinho, and Lucas Leiva, and when they are at their best, nobody can stop them. Even Sunderland got smashed by Liverpool in the Capital One Cup. Mario Mandzukic also has 11 goals for Liverpool, but if those strikers aren't scoring it's tough for Liverpool to score at all. Their third top scorer, Antonio Cassano, has just 3 goals. Liverpool have registered some impressive results thus far, beating Swansea, Man Utd, Chelsea, and Arsenal thus far. However, like Sunderland, Liverpool have lost their last 3 games, putting them further out of title contention. Those weren't top teams either, it was upstarts Wigan, Hull, and Norwich who managed to register crucial wins over the top team from Mereyside. In those three games, Liverpool have scored just 1 goal. We at the Mirror see more of the same coming, and we feel that Liverpool will finish 5th, behind Manchester City in 4th.

Lower League Player Watch
So you are fighting relegation and having trouble getting players? Well I will be talking about 2 Lower League players that could come in and do a job for a bottom half team like Spurs or Cardiff or Reading.

Q.P.R Striker Federico Marcheda is one that could come in and do a job for a bottom half side. He was at Manchester United but was deemed not good enough back then. In the last two seasons though he has come on leaps and bounds. He netter 13 goals for Birmingham and this season for Q.P.R he has netter 13 times already. When your in the bottom half of the table you need to buy players in January who are in form. Marcheda would only cost minimum of £3,000,000 too so he is surely going to be in the minds of a few chairman this window.

Utility Leicester man Anthony Knockheart is another who is bang in form at the moment. He can play anywhere across the middle including up front and this season has an average rating of 7.08 and scored 8 goals with 9 assists. The bottom teams are down there because they can not make chances mainly so he might be worth a gamble. When I say worth a gamble he would only cost a minimum of £5m and I think a few chairman might look to Anthony if they can not get there main targets.
