Newcastle o.O?
Wow, those monthly updates seem rather familiar... :P

Good results, and some big transfers around the league there!
Some good result their but hopefully next month will be even better and you can take top spot in the league!

Suárez: I'm Back

Liverpool finished last month in third place after some good results in the league, but they will be boosted further by the return of one man - Luis Suárez. The Uruguayan was banned for 10 matches at the end of last season for famously biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanović. Liverpool will need him to step up his game to recapture his form from last season, especially with Daniel Sturridge missing the next match with an injury suffered in the previous game against Chelsea. He will have big boots to fill, with Sturridge in hot form at the start of this season. We've got an exclusive interview with Luis about his return to first team football.

"Daniel and I have had a chat, Brendan has me hard at work in training, and I am putting the work in. I want to help this great club as much as I can. The fans were fantastic in their support to me following last seasons' stupid mistake, and I want to repay their loyalty. I have already signed that new contract. I won't be going anywhere in the near future. I've been watching the team from the stands, and we've been playing some fantastic football, and I think it will be easy for me to slot in. I never wanted to leave Anfield. This club has done so much for me and I can't wait to get back into playing."
A quick note: The previous results update should have said August Results.
Oh dear...That Cardiff result :/

but to be honest you have started better than pretty much anyone who has tried Liverpool so well done lad! Haha! Good luck next month :)

Super Performances from Sterling

One man has been making the headline from within Anfield lately. Raheem Sterling has long been an exciting prospect for both England and Liverpool fans, and his performances lately have got them drooling even more. His form for the England U21 side has been particularly impressive. His run of spectacular form started in a match against Spain U21's, when he scored twice to help the side to a 5-1 win over the Spaniards. This performance pushed Liverpool into giving the young winger an improved contract at the club, with the 19-year-old now thought to be earning £38,000 per week on his five year contract. He was signed in the 2010-2011 season, for a bargain fee of £600,000, and Raheem has never looked back, making his England debut at the age of just 17.

That is his only appearance to date, but he has impressed on more than one occasion in the England U21 side. He turned in a Man of the Match performance against Cyprus U21's, once again picking up two goals, bringing his total for the side to 5 goals in just 8 games - an impressive achievement for any player, especially a winger. He was then credited for Liverpool's win over Stoke lately, having come off of the bench at half time, to provide 2 goals which turned the game around, with Liverpool trailing 1-0 before the half time break. Sterling has impressed hugely during the season so far, and fans will be hoping he can keep it up for a long time coming.
Unlucky on the Cardiff result but all in all a great month and loving the Sterling update he should become class in your save in about 5 years time :)
Not a great month in September for you, but hopefully with the help of Sterling your form will pick up next month and you can get some more wins!
Decent month - shame about the trashing to Arsenal. The table is really close! Surprising to see 4 of the bigger clubs all outside the top 4.

Liverpool Tie up Deal for Norwegian

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Norwegian centre back Stefan Strandberg from Rosenborg BK for a fee of £450,000.

The 23-year-old has been signed as cover for the main defenders in the Liverpool squad, but Strandberg will not join the club until the start of the January transfer window.

Liverpool have had good relationships with Norwegian players in the past, most notably fullback John Arne Riise, who now plays his football at Fulham. Comparisons have been made between Strandberg and Fulham centre back Brede Hangeland, who is considered by many a Norwegian legend, but his career never really got going, and he has been with Fulham since the 2007-2008 season.

Hangeland has received a lot of praise, however, and he has gone on to captain the national side. Strandberg has been labeled as 'the next Hangeland', and Liverpool fans will be happy at acquiring the player for such a low fee.
Decent signing, will do good as a cover, and he was really cheap!
