Oh my God mate, you've got yourself some great signings there!
great signings mate! loving this story so far!

if you've got the money, i'd keep the loan winger, if not try get him in for another season :P

Hofmann Extends Loan; Two Leave Anfield

Liverpool FC is delighted to announce the extension of Jonas Hofmann's loan contract.

Once again, as part of the deal, Brendan Rodgers can choose to purchase Jonas at any time during his loan spell for £14.5 million. Hofmann looked set to return to Germany when Rodgers ruled himself out of paying this a fortnight ago, but the Northern Irishman was hard at work trying to arrange a deal with his parent club, German champions Borussia Dortmund.

Fans took a real shining to the 21-year-old during last years Premier League campaign, and more similar performances from the winger may well see him bought permanently. He joins Adam Lallana and Xherdan Shaqiri on Liverpool's acquired targets list.

Meanwhile, two players left the club in the past week. Martin Kelly and Iago Aspas both leave The Reds for a combined fee of £7.5 million. Aspas heads off to Norwich City for a price of £6 million, while Kelly leaves for Stoke City for £1.5 million.

Kelly's career at Liverpool once looked promising - that was until a series of injuries halted his development, and the player struggled to break into the first team. He didn't make a single league appearance for the club last season, with Brendan Rodgers preferring to rotate Glen Johnson and Jon Flanagan.

Aspas played in just three league games, but did impress when given opportunities. The Spaniard scored two goals in the league, but the strike force of Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suárez was far too strong for Aspas to really challenge for a first team spot.

We wish them both the best of luck, and welcome Jonas back to Anfield for another season.
I don't rate Aspas or Kelly (I don't think anyone does :P) so good to get them out and free up some more funds!
Hoffman on loan again should be a good signing too :)
Omg yes! You kept Hoffman <3 Well done on getting 4th, let's kick on next season pls! ;)

One in, One out at Liverpool

Liverpool have announced the signing of Romanian midfielder Nicolae Stanciu for a fee of £4.9 million from Steaua București.

The 21-year-old is the fourth player to arrive at Anfield during this transfer window, but it seems that he will be leaving, almost straight away, after he was placed on the loan list by Brendan Rodgers in a bid to boost his development.

Liverpool fought off competition from German champions Borussia Dortmund for Stanciu's signature, and Dortmund are now reportedly looking towards the attacking midfielder as a loan signing, as well as Norwich City and Newcastle United.

Stanciu played 21 games for Steaua last season, scoring six, and laying on six for his team-mates.

Departing Anfield is Moroccan winger Oussama Assaidi, who joins Swansea City for a fee of £2.3 million. He never managed to impress The Kop, and spent last season at The Brittania Stadium, where he made 28 appearances for Stoke, scoring on six occasions.
Stanciu is a steal at that price, turned out very good on my save. Great to see Lallana scoring his first for the club too.
Some great signings, and Stanciu :oo! Are you going to loan out Sterling?
Great signing in Stanciu, he turns out absolutely insane!! Please do not loan out Sterling either he is also really good 2nd season onward!^
Not the best start to the season from your defence! :(

Hopefully it is jut a slow start to an amazing season :)
Not a great start, but nonetheless not a bad one! Of course a poor loss to Fulham, but a good win at West Brom and you are even in the Champions League group stage, in a group that you can definitely qualify from!

Good luck mate, I am really loving this story!

Rodgers: We Must Minimize Away Defeats

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has made a statement to his team - lower the amount of away defeats or face the consequences. This comes after the side lost 3-1 to Fulham on the opening game of the season, and with the team now in the UEFA Champions League, they will need to be wary of opposition attacks even more so than before.

Many of Liverpool's conceded goals have come through lapses of concentration - pundits have praised Liverpool for their ability to control games, but the amount of goals that come through opposition breaks has been far too high, and this is something that needs to be worked on.

Liverpool are aiming for a title challenge this season, but if results like the one at Craven Cottage continue to go against them, they may not even be able to make a top four spot. Following the loss, Liverpool went on to win their other game in the month, but, once again, a lapse in concentration from the defenders allowed West Brom to equalize, and had it not been for a late winner from Steven Gerrard, it would have been more points dropped.

Deadline Day: 5 Biggest Buys

It has been a busy transfer window across the globe, with some top deals being made. As we have arrived at Transfer Deadline Day, we'll give you a run-down on the five most expensive buys of the last few months.

#1 - Theo Walcott - Arsenal to Chelsea - £39 million

The most expensive signing of the window was made by Chelsea, as they picked up Arsenal's Theo Walcott, but, like many that have gone before him, critics were there to curse at the price tag. Arsenal fans were angry at new boss Luciano Spaletti, as Walcott was a real favourite among them, and to sell to a rival club like Chelsea is even worse, one fan told us. But, several were satisfied, at least, with the money being brought into the club from the sale, with Spaletti charging more than the usual asking price for their star winger. Walcott joins up with many other English players at Stamford Bridge, but he is no stranger to foreign players. He has gotten off to a flying start, scoring 2 goals in his opening 3 games, with an average rating of 7.55. Walcott signs a 5 year deal with Chelsea.

#2 - Kevin Strootman - AS Roma to Paris Saint-Germain - £33.5 million

Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman has been highly sought after by many top European clubs for a long time now, but he has finally moved away from Italy, and into France, where he signs a five year deal with PSG. The rich club had the financial resources to offer him, and he joins a talent packed midfield, including the likes of ex-Premier League boys, Lucas Leiva and Yohan Cabaye. He is renowned for his fantastic passing ability and great mentality, and he will surely benefit PSG, who currently hold the Ligue 1 title in France. Laurent Blanc's side are, however, looking for Champions League success, and with the squad that they have at their disposal, there is no reason why they cannot achieve it.

#3 - Rafinha - Barcelona 'B' to Wolfsburg - £24 million

The brother of Bayern Munich's Thiago, Rafinha, who was with Barcelona at the same time as his older brother, has moved to Germany. Wolfsburg clearly a know a talented youngster when they see one, and swooped in to buy the Brazilian. He is an ambitious individual, however, and with Wolfsburg not performing overly well in the league last season, he may want out if the trend continues. Perhaps not as well known as his brother, but he has the potential to be equally talented, if not more. The 21-year-old signs a five year contract with Wolfsburg. He spent the entirety of last season on loan at La Liga club, Celta Vigo, and played in each and every one of their league games.

#4 - Jesé - Real Madrid to Paris Saint-Germain - £23 million

Another one of the world's biggest prospects, Jesé, joins Paris Saint-Germain, who seem to really be splashing the cash this year. Joining from Real Madrid, where fans were sad to see one of their biggest youth players leave, he now starts a brand new chapter in his career, at the age of just 21. He is yet to make an international appearance for Spain at senior level, and he will look to change that in the near future. But the striker will have to improve on last years performances - he scored just four goals in 31 games for Real Madrid, which brought the transfer fee under question. He has now joined a title winning club, with Real Madrid having lost out on the title to near rivals Barcelona. Jesé signs a five year contract at PSG.

#5 - Éver Banega - Valencia to Manchester City - £23 million

Spain lost another one of their league's top talents, as Argentinian midfielder, Éver Banega, moves to England. Manchester City and Chelsea battled it out for his signature, but City won the battle, and he moves to last years underachievers, who, without any continental competition to play in this year, could only have lured him to their club with money. The 26-year-old, capped twelve times by Argentina, is known best for his passing, but he suffered a serious injury in a car accident in 2012, which begs the question - was the midfielders' progression halted by this injury?
