Deadline Day January 2017
Hello and welcome to Deadline Day with us on Sky Sports Portugal, we're covering every single move in the Portuguese Premier League today, I can sense it'll be a crazy day already!
07:00AM: Our sources in Braga say that they have received three loan offers for striker Imoh Ezekiel, winger Ricardo Kishna and left-back Álex Grimaldo. Bids seem to be around France and a fellow Portuguese side that are currently unnamed.
08:30: Now there seems to be more movement around the Estádio AXA. French center-back Romaric N'Gouma has been subject to a £30m+ bid made by Spanish side Atlético Madrid. Azevedo seems to be knocking back anything under £30m. The Frenchman has a Champions League winners medal with Braga since joining from Olympique Lyonnais last season on a free transfer.
08:30: Also making their way into deadline day are FC Porto. Porto have received around five bids earlier this morning for different players, reports coming out of the ground say two of the bids are from league leaders Braga.
09:00: Braga seemed to have put up summer signing Luca Marrone up for sale this morning. Azevedo wasn't the man who signed him and has not impressed the legendary Braga boss since his return earlier this month. Chinese Wonderkid Lin Wenyao seems to be breaking through the ranks and may be looking at a potential starting spot at Braga.
09:10: Braga striker Imoh Ezekiel has just completed his loan move to Olympique Marseille until the end of the season. Álex Grimaldo looks set to follow him to Marseille soon.
09:20: Porto's center-back Maicon looks to be on his way to Liga BBVA's Granada in a £4.4m move.
09:30: Crazy news at SC Braga's Estádio AXA as it is announced that Romaric N'Gouma is now an Atlético Madrid player at a cost of £34M. Crazy fee for a center-back. Olympique Lyonnais receive 3.5% of the fee, which amounts to £1.19m.
09:45: SL Benfica have joined in deadline day now, snapping up Santos' 19 year old Willian César for a fee of just £2.1m.
10:00: FC Porto have announced a massive outgoing deal. Left-back Alex Sandro has moved to Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of £18.25m.
10:00 Also, Braga have made their first signing of the day, taking Boca Juniors' Leonardo Alvarez out of Porto's hands for just £4.3m. A good buy from Azevedo and I'm sure it won't be the last time we hear of them today.
10:10: Granada have just announced the £4.4m transfer involving FC Porto's center-back Maicon. Seems to be quite a few on their way out of Estádio Dragao today.
10:10: News emerging from Italian sources say that Napoli have put in a £20m+ bid in for defensive midfielder Luca Marrone from Braga. Busy day so far for Armando Azevedo.
11:30: ABSOLUTE SCENES AT BRAGA. The official club website has confirmed that FC Porto star Juan Fernando Quintero has agreed a £22.5m move up north to the Estádio AXA. The fans outside the ground are going absolutely crazy! Brilliant signing for Los Arsenalista's!
12:30: Braga defensive midfielder Luca Marrone has departed Portugal for Italy following confirmation of his £23.5m move to Napoli after falling out of favour with new boss Armando Azevedo. Great business for the man who joined Braga from Lazio for just £14.5m in August.
15:00: Even more news from Estádio AXA! Porto striker Jackson Martínez has completed an £8m move from Estádio Dragao to Estádio AXA! Just a day before their Taca de Portugal tie tomorrow! Once again more scenes from outside Braga's ground. What a dreadful day it's been for Porto fans, they've sold five of their best players this winter in Héctor Herrera to Shakhtar, Alex Sandro to PSG, Maicon to Granada, Jackson Martínez and Juan Fernando Quintero to Braga and they've shown no interest in any top players despite selling £81m worth of players this season.
18:45: Despite only joining nine hours ago Leonardo Alvarez has already departed Braga to join Greek side Skoda Xanthi on a six month loan deal.
18:45: It's gone from bad to worse for FC Porto. Right-back Danilo has confirmed via Twitter that a £16m deal with English side Manchester United has been sealed now. God knows what's going through Braga's fans' heads right now.
22:30: Braga have let left-back Álex Grimaldo go out on loan to Olympique Marseille. He joins Imoh Ezekiel who went there earlier today.
