Besnik Hazi steps down as Anderlecht Boss

Besnik Hasi has stood down as manager of RSC Anderlecht after only 1 year in charge of the Belgian giants in which he led the club to the Belgian title.
Noone knows the full reason why the sudden decision to stand down because everything was looking quite positive with Anderlecht seemingly looking invincible in recent times, some media pundits are claiming it was the clubs lack of success in Europe that has led to the dismissal

Fabio Cannavaro unveiled as new Anderlecht Boss

Former italian international Fabio Cannavaro has been unveiled to the press as the new manager of RSC Anderlecht, the man dubbed "Muro di Berlino" ("The Berlin Wall") has signed a 3 year deal with the Belgian powerhouse
Fabio has vowed to bring attacking football to Anderlecht whilst also being very solid at the back, and with Fabio Cannavaro being one of the best central defenders to ever grace the game there is noone better to bring defensive solidity.

Fabio Cannavaros main job at Anderlecht will be to provide the next generation of young stars at the club with top class football and trophies to keep them wanting to leave the club in the future. promoting the youth players is a massive deal for this club and ill be looking to adhere to these wishes, only if we produce the right talent
good luck mate!
Looks good, good luck!

Pre-Season

to get my team in shape for the new season we've arranged 6 friendlies, all the teams chosen were specifically picked based on the formations we will play this season hoping to get well prepared. None of the 6 teams are world beaters but there is one tricky match against Marseille, we will show Europe what to expect when they come against us

lets talk tactics

after lengthy discussions with my backroom staff talking about the football we want to bring to Anderlecht we came up with these 3 tactics, though unusual i believe there's tactics will help us control matches in the midfield and also having options in attack either narrow or wide. our defence may be stretched at times but i think we have the quality to nullify most attacks in the championship. now Europe will be another story
Interesting formations! 2 at the back with 4 DM's seems like an interesting shape, can't wait to see how it works out :)

Pre-Season round up

Well thats Pre-Season done and dusted for another year and i think we are well prepared for out opening match in the League after some positive results in our friendlies, the downside to these though was our 6-0 drubbing at the hands of French giants Marseille, they really did give us a real footballing lesson and my team will look to learn from the experience

Belgian SuperCup

The Official curtain raiser to the Belgian league is the Supercup, Anderlecht were aiming to win the cup for the second year running, my team never looked like losing this match which we completely dominated. Matias Suarez and Aleksander Mitrovic scoring the two decisive goals that by the end of the match was enough for us to win the trophy
Nice. Congrats mate! Great design btw.

Thorgan Hazard secures loan move to Anderlecht

Anderlecht have announced on there official website that young Chelsea starlet Thorgen Hazard has joined the club on loan until the end of the season, Thorgen is the younger brother of Eden and ironically it was his older brother that is keeping him out of the Chelsea side hence the loan move to Belgium.
Thorgen has said to Eurosports news that he is very happy to be joining a club with such promising young Belgian players in the squad such as Dennis Praet and Youri Tieleman, the lure of Champions League football was also key in his decision to move
Hazard is a great signing!

Anderlecht sign Albania's next big thing

Anderlecht have announced the signing of Amir Abrashi who is touted as the next big thing in Albanian football, Amir made 16 U21 appearances for Albania and currently has one cap with the senior squad.
Amir came with a price tag of $4,000,000 but looking at the potential of the lad it could well be a bargain, watch this space
Interesting signing, I hope he does well for you!

August

A solid start to the season picking up 10 points in the first 5 matches, the main talking point has been our embarrassing 3-2 defeat to Mons which was unexpected, but cudos to the lads for bouncing back with two wins on the trot without conceding a goal

So after the first month of the season gone we sit 3rd on the ladder only two points off early pace setters Mons and our main rivals for the title Genk. we will be hoping to be top by the end of next month and look to take control

Player of the month

Dennis Praet has wowed fans across Belguim this month with some stellar performances and despite being only 19 Dennis has shown maturity well beyond his years. we will be looking for more of the same from this young man for the rest of the campaign

this is a little overwiew and proof of how good Dennis has been this month. he has nearly reached 700 passes from only 6 matches and has provided 3 assists aswell whilst covering an average on 11.5km per game
Interesting tactics, good luck!
I had a Anderlecht save and its a good challenge. Keep up the good work and I hope you make good use of Youri and Aaron
Solid start to the season!
