2014-07-28 07:53#186866 Josh_MU : The new manager had only just arrived in Manchester when his conference was scheduled after his Netherlands World Cup squad finished 3rd in the whole competition as they beat Brazil in the 3rd place play-off which the Netherlands dominated throughout and fully deserved to have the right to say they finished 3rd in the 2014 World Cup.

That's a helluva run-on sentence! :P In all seriousness, this story has got off to a great start and I hope LVG does well! Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to sign Vidal for a reasonable fee on FM, but I wish you luck anyway.
@All: Thanks yet again for the support! It means a lot! :-)

Juventus accept 26 million pound offer for Pogba

Juventus have accepted a 26 million pound offer from Manchester United for wonderkid Paul Pogba who is unsettled at the club.

Pogba is apparently unsettled at the club and wants to move abroad and find a new challenge, with England among the top list of the countries the 21 year old wants to move to, and in the early hours of the morning, Juventus accepted a 26 million pound bid for him by his former club, Manchester United.

Pogba left The Red Devils when Sir Alex Ferguson was in-charge as he wasn't getting sufficient playing time, similar to Gerard Pique of Barcelona. Pogba decided a move was the best option and shortly left for Turin where he has become one of the hottest prospects in World football, scoring 12 goals and getting 10 assists for the Italian champions last season.

However the new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has decided that Pogba would add something new and exciting to the squad after they missed out on his fellow team-mate Arturo Vidal, who is staying with the Serie A holders for another season. We are unsure whether Pogba will turn down a move back to his old club after the way he was treated under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Pogba left Manchester United to go to Juventus on a free transfer as his playing time was limited under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester United fans would be pleased to see Pogba return after his transformation playing in Italy as he is now the type of midfielder Manchester United need after they failed to pick one up last season under the guidance of David Moyes, with Fellaini not scoring a single goal or getting an assist in the entire season.

The deal is set to be completed within the next few days regarding Pogba accepts his contract offer, but either way it shows that United can still attract big name signings even without a season of Champions League Football.

Pogba returns to the Theatre of Dreams

Paul Pogba has made his return to Old Trafford as he accepts a 3 year deal with the club, earning just over £120,000 a week.

The 21 year old has completed his move to his former club which he left a few years ago on a free transfer to Juventus after a disagreement with Sir Alex Ferguson. United fans are very pleased to see the France international come back after he has improved drastically due to having lots of playing time at the Serie A holders.

Pogba has expressed how delighted he is to return and play under new manager Louis van Gaal, as the midfielder admires the Dutch manager and is excited to see what he can learn under him. Pogba said the following after he was unveiled at a press conference shortly after his arrival back in Manchester;

"I'm delighted to be here once again. It is a magnificent club with great prestige and honours which I am hoping to add to this season. It was tough leaving Juventus but I'm very excited to see what ideas the manager has here, as I truly admire his work and I want to be a part of the new Manchester United."

van Gaal is known for making game changing decisions, as he subbed off Cillessen for Krul in a penalty shoot-out which Holland won.

van Gaal is also very pleased with his signing, as he believes Pogba can become one of the World's best midfielders with the right training and game time which he can achieve at Manchester United. van Gaal said the following words about Pogba at his official unveiling;

"Paul is an exciting player in the current game, as I believe he has what it takes to become one of the World's best with the right training and game time. I am delighted that he has joined us here at Manchester United and I hope he gives everything for the club as I am willing to give everything for him to become an even better player."

Pogba is van Gaal's third signing for Manchester United currently, and with even more names linked to come and go, the rebuild is in full swing as The Red Devils prepare for one of their biggest seasons yet in the quest to achieve Champions League Football for next season.
Cue 7-8 month injury ;)
That's one helluva signing, I'm sure he will be fantastic for you! :D
