Legendary start, mate! Really loving your writing style, it's a bunch of fun to read.
And begin the legend puns!
Fzemdegs The title itself is even a pun :P
Toonman Thanks, I'll try and maintain the standard.
Squirmy Thanks mate, really appreciate it.
Nice to see a lot of content in the updates, keep up the good work. :) I wonder what you have planned for Atleti ;)

Mario Suarez and Five Loanee's Leave

This deal signals Aidan Legend's first move in the transfer market. The boss has successfully completed a deal to send Mario Suarez to Benfica on a permanent deal for a sum of £11.75 million, whilst youth players at the club have been sent out on loan to various other clubs to further their skills and eventually challenge for a position in the first team squad.

Aidan Legend has stated that the depth in the center midfield position at the club was sufficient, and therefore deemed Mario Suarez as a surplus to requirements. Mario Suarez struggled to cement his spot in the first team under Diego Simeone's reign, and it seems that the trend would have continued under Legend, therefore the two parties thought that it would be within the best interests of everyone if Suarez searched for another club.

Mario Suarez will join Benfica for the upcoming season

Mario Suarez started his footballing career at the club as a product of the youth system, playing for the 'B' team before making his first first team appearance in 2005. Mario appeared with the first team 4 times before moving on loan to at the time Liga Adelante clubs, Valladolid and Celta Vigo, where he got lots of first team action to further his development.

In 2008, Suarez was sold to Mallorca, with a clause that let Atletico buy him back at any point through-out his contract. Mario appeared 60 times for the club, scoring 5 goals before Atletico bought him back, bringing him home. Through-out his second spell at the club, he made 101 appearances for us, scoring 3 goals. We thank Mario for his service, and wish him luck for his future endeavors, and hope to see him succeed at his new club in Portugal.

Oliver Torres - Future Atletico Star

Oliver is just one of 5 talents that have been loaned out to clubs around the world. Oliver Torres is one of Atletico's bright stars, who has unlimited potential, and could be pushing for a first team spot within the next two years. He has the flair, the vision and the ball control. He has been loaned out to Porto where he will progress his skills whilst playing Champions League football.

Ruben Perez, Joel Gimenez, Ruben Perez and Saul are the other talents that have bright futures ahead of them that have been loaned out in preparation for their Atletico career. We wish all six of these players the best of luck in their endeavors away from Atletico Madrid.

Another quality update. Hope to see some great newfaces coming soon.
A very good worth of money for Mario! A very good deal!

good transfer business, now hopefully you can bring quality in

The Mario Suarez deal was great! I want to see who you bring in as Costa's replacement!
xander_dunlop1 Thanks, you will.
Aan Yeah, was pretty shocked when I could get that much from them in the negotiations.
fzemdegs Quality is an understatement :D
Pauker Was very happy with the Suarez deal, however I already have Manduzkic as Costa's replacement, real life did all the work for me :D

Two Superstars to Atletico

With a transfer kitty rumoured to be in the area of £42.5m, plus the influx of cash from the Mario Suarez deal, Atletico Madrid certainly have the money to attract big name players, and two household names have today joined the club in their quest to de-throne Real Madrid and Barcelona at the top of the La Liga. Many Atletico fans will be very happy to see the progress that Aidan Legend is making in the transfer market, and with the moves that he has made, Atletico's success in their quest of La Liga dominance has been made even more of a possibility.

Paul Pogba is hot property amongst the footballing world

Atletico Madrid's accusation of Paul Pogba stands as the most expensive and surprising of the window so far. Juventus had made their reluctance to sell Pogba very clear to the footballing world, however Legend obviously didn’t let up, or accept this philosophy. For the initial fee of £23.5m, this deal is almost a coup really, considering Pogba current ability, and the potential he has yet to discover. At the ripe age of 20, Pogba is one of the hottest players around.

Pogba started his career off at Le Havre, before moving to Manchester United in 2009. Here, Pogba played in the youth system until 2011, where he was promoted to the first team squad, and played in the reserves. After failing to get the opportunities Paul thought he deserved, United and Juventus came to an agreement that ended in Juventus buying the player on a free transfer. Pogba worked his way up the Juventus ranks, and eventually became a key player in the squad that won two consecutive Serie A titles.

Atletico fans are sure to be very happy with this signing, and more faith will now be put into Legend's ability as a manager.

Juan Cuadrado is one of the world's best wingers

Juan Cuadrado has been on the top of many of the biggest clubs in the world's hit list, however once again, Atletico win the signature. Cuadrado earnt his move due to his sublime form throughout the Serie A season, where he pushed Fiorentina into one of the top teams in the league. Cuadrado has become a key player for both club and country over the past few years, and will hope to continue this trend at Atletico.

Juan started off his career at a local club in the Colombian First Division, and played with them up until he was offered to join Italian side Udinese. Juan was loaned out to Leece during his time at Udinese, and he proved his worth over there, consistently giving impressive performances. Udinese eventually sold him to Fiorentina, where Cuadrado flourished, becoming an integral part of the squad. He opens a new chapter now at Atletico. Juan is known for his dancing during goal celebrations, and Atletico fans will be hoping to see this a lot over the coming season.

Cuadrado and Pogba will both start training with the first team squad tomorrow, and will start playing with the team during the upcoming tour of the USA during the pre-season.
Fantastic signings! Pogba is obviously a great talent, and Cuadrado will give you plenty of pace down the right flank :)
