Some of these puns were almost too Swede to savour! But you are right, there's Norway this can continue.
Hahaha these puns!

Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC - Club Overview

Unless you're a die-hard Hungarian football fan, you have more than likely never heard of Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC. This update is designed to give you the need-to-know facts about the club. Hopefully this help you to follow the club more easily during this story and it will certainly improve my knowledge of a club where I might be for a very long time too!

Nyíregyháza Spartacus is a football club from Nyíregyháza, Hungary. The team was founded in 1959 by the fusion of the clubs Spartacus and Építők, they've had brief stints in the Hungarian Division I since then. They currently play in the Hungarian Division II. The team is locally referred to by their nickname, Szpari. Spartacus' biggest rival is Debrecen, one of the biggest teams in Hungary. They play their home games in Sóstói út, in the city sport complex just north of the down-town. Szpari's one and only trophy victory came in 2007, when they won the Hungarian Division II and earned promotion to Hungary's top league. However, the club were relegated in 2010 and have been in Division II ever since. The previous season (2012/2013) saw Spartacus finish in a disappointing fifth position. However, they are looking to place higher this season and push for a return to the top flight. The league rules will be explained in a different update.

Nyíregyháza's facilities are nothing to brag about. Their stadium is relatively big but less than half the capacity is seated. The training and youth facilities are of a low standard too. Here is an overview of all the facilities:

Stadium (Sóstói út): 10,000 capacity (4,000 seated - no roof, no under-soil heating)
Corporate Facilities: Adequate
Training Facilities: Basic
Youth Facilities: Basic
Youth Recruitment: Basic
Junior Coaching: Basic

The club's balance is positive, currently resting at £170k. The club is expected to make a £500k profit over the course of the season. Hopefully the club can make enough money to step up in the rankings of Hungarian and football and build a solid structure for the future.

I know this was very brief but there isn't a whole lot of information about Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC available. You guys know as much as I do right now! Next up is an overview of the team and then of the league. Keep an eye on the upcoming updates!
