Walter, yes complacency could become an issue but I feel prepared ;)

Feliks, personally I want to push higher and further away from the relegation zone but this isn't a bad position to be in :P

pompeyblue, yes the players have shown great character to bounce back from that December-January run. Hopefully they can continue to show just how good they are!

League Match vs Arsenal (H) 03/04/2021: We were very hard pressed in this game against a hard-fighting Arsenal side and it took our very best football to break through their defence and see Kevin Griffiths on the score sheet with just under 25 minutes left. However, Arsenal began gunning for an equaliser and the young striking prodigy Jason Chase scored the equaliser for Arsenal.
Man Of The Match: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal)

League Match vs Crystal Palace (A) 11/04/2021: Next up was a trip to Crystal Palace where we took the lead midway through the first half courtesy of another Zach Clough goal. However, Will Keane got Palace level in the second half and they were in control of the game from then on. Luckily for us, we evaded defeat by the skin of our teeth and we took a valuable point home.
Man Of The Match: Zach Clough (Whitehawk)

League Match vs QPR (H) 19/04/2021: This game contained 80 of the most boring minutes of my life. The ball went back and forth in midfield but with no real attack from either side. While the stats did show us having a considerable amount of shots on goal, the majority of these were poor and without real threat. The game remained a drag until the 82nd minute, when it burst in to life through the right boot of Zach Clough. The striker broke free of the QPR defence and fired home an absolute scorcher from the edge of the area to break the deadlock. Clough grabbed his second when McClean teed him up for a simple placed finish. Minutes later, he flicked on a corner for Tommie Hoban to score our second. What a thrilling final eight minutes!
Man Of The Match: Zach Clough (Whitehawk)

League Match vs Charlton (A) 25/04/2021: We ended the month with a trip to Charlton. The game was very even until Junior Stanislas gave us the lead just before half-time. Charlton fought desperately to equalise but we held strong and won the game.
Man Of The Match: John Souttar (Charlton)

Overall: This has been one of our best months ever. We claimed a memorable point against Arsenal before avoiding defeat to a strong Palace side. Wins against QPR and Charlton set us up perfectly for a final month of the season.

Player Of The Month

Zach Clough was our hero this month, scoring three times and being a threat otherwise. He has had a truly sensational second half to the season and will hopefully carry this form to the end of next month and in to next season. Maybe even an England call-up awaits him!

Our prolific form has seen us shoot far away from the relegation zone and in to 12th with just four games to go! We are now battling to see how high up the table we can place, rather than to avoid any danger. I believe that we are truly safe but I want as many points on the board to try and possibly overtake Tottenham, Fulham and West Ham.

Whitehawk News

It is great news for us that Minnesota United from USA are now a feeder club of ours. The idea behind this was to increase our reputation abroad and having an affiliate in USA is a huge boost. Alongside this, my new awesome rich chairman decided to invest in to developing our training and youth facilities too. What a man!

May Fixtures

The games against Reading, West Ham and Aston Villa will not be easy. They are very good teams in this season in my save. Our last game of the season is at home to Manchester United and we will hope to give our fans a proper send off for the season.

Things look well at Whitehawk, very nice month, especially the result at the Gooners.

William: Not Done Yet

Prince William Wants His Team To Push For Higher Finish In Final Month

Whitehawk's six game unbeaten run from the start of March has seen them experience a dramatic rise to a very unexpected twelfth position in the league! With a five point gap between themselves and 18th placed Charlton, Whitehawk look to be safe from a relegation which many expected them to get. Their impressive form has delighted manager William Mountbatten-Windsor, who spoke of his elation with his squad's recent success.

Prince William: "We've been sensational recently, easily one of the best teams in the league. We go to every single game with confidence of getting a result and great determination to carry out our game plan. Even before our loss to City in February, we were playing some great football, all the way back to the end of January. Those games against Newcastle, Fulham, Everton and Arsenal showed just how much we have progressed since the start of the season. We are fearless, we are confident, and we have the quality required to play at this level.

I don't think there has been a single person who has been disappointed with our recent success, except for our opponents, of course. If you take a quick look at the statistics, we rank in the top three in the league for both pass completion and tackle completion ratios. This is incredible for a club just promoted and is very positive. It shows just how hard the players have been working in training to perfect their own games for each match. We are now a team to be feared across the country."

Prince William has acknowledged the difference Zach Clough's goalscoring form has made on his side's performance in the second half of the league season, giving nothing but praise to the striker.

Prince William: "He (Zach Clough) has been fantastic for us over the last few months and has developed a lot as a player and as a person. In the early stages of the season, he was working hard but wasn't putting as many chances away as he would have wanted to. After the turn of the year, it has been a completely different story. He is still working very hard, he is making great runs, producing wonderful pieces of skill and providing great passes for his team-mates and he's tucking away his chances like a sniper. If he was in this form for the whole season, he might have had a thirty goal season!"

With just four games to go, things are looking rosy for the Premier League new boys. However, Prince William is not yet ready to celebrate and wants his team to push for an even higher position in the league.

Prince William: "We're not done yet. We still have four games left to play and while they are against very very good opposition, especially Manchester United, we want to keep getting good results and climb even further up the table. We want to finish as well as we can and we will put nothing but one hundred percent in to every single game to squeeze as many points as we can out of our opponents."

Cappy13, thanks but there is plenty more to do yet! :)
This just in: Leigh Cook comes runner up in BPL young player of the month. He's said to be delighted, and is determined to go one step further.

Still...Everything going swell. Let's see if you can't finish a little higher up! Good luck mate, and loving the interview with Mr. Mount-Battenberg.

A superb month in April, and now a top half finish is definitely possible! That would be a fantastic achievement, but even so, staying up with the small budget you were working on deserves a lot of praise. Well done, onwards and upwards!

League Match vs Reading (H) 02/05/2021: This was predicted to be a very interesting contest between two evenly matched sides. However, it was a confident attacking performance from us as we were in cruise control for the whole game. James McClean opened the scoring with a penalty before Junior Stanislas doubled our advantage just a minute later, and just half an hour in to the game. Mason Bennett pulled one back for Reading just after half-time but a second McClean penalty with twenty minutes to go restored our two goal cushion. The in-form Zach Clough put the game beyond doubt by scoring our fourth with less than fifteen minutes remaining.
Man Of The Match: Junior Stanislas (Whitehawk)

League Match vs West Ham (H) 08/05/2021: We were in better form than West Ham heading in to this game but this didn't show as Brendan Galloway's thunderous drive from distance gave West Ham the lead with just minutes on the clock. However, Junior Stanislas got us level after a quarter of an hour and the remainder of the game was end-to-end action as both sides produced moments of magic but no end product to match. This was the case until the third minute of stoppage time, however. It was our hero, Zach Clough, who took the ball past, not one, not two, but three defenders and fired high over the goalkeeper's reach in to the top corner to seal a sensational victory!
Man Of The Match: Junior Stanislas (Whitehawk)

League Match vs Aston Villa (A) 16/05/2021: Our good run of form came to an end when we travelled to Villa Park. Thorgan Hazard inspired the home team as he scored the opening goal midway through the first half before winning a penalty before an hour had gone. However, Velthuizen saved the spot kick but couldn't stop Tino Susic, who scored ten minutes later. Zach Clough scored with ten minutes remaining to get us back in the game but we couldn't find an equaliser before the whistle blew for a final time.
Man Of The Match: Wahbi Khazri (Aston Villa)

League Match vs Man Utd (H) 23/05/2021: Our final game of the season, at home to Manchester United! Many expected us to lose heavily but we didn't. In fact, it was quite the opposite to what was predicted as we played the Red Devils off the pitch. Despite all the talent in their squad, they looked second best by a long distance as we played some fantastic football. Billy Roast opened the scoring for us with a header from a corner with minutes on the clock. Zach Clough sealed the win for us in the second half as he bamboozled Phil Jones before delivering a tasty finish past Oscar Payton. What a way to end the season!
Man Of The Match: Billy Roast (Whitehawk)

Overall: I am delighted with this month. We recorded a comprehensive victory over Reading before fighting back very well to beat West Ham. We were unfortunate against Villa, who were on top form that day. Our last game of the season was our best as we outclassed England's most successful club. What a month!

Player Of The Month

For me, it just had to be Zach Clough. The striker ended the season in superb style by scoring a goal in each of our last four games of the season. I am hoping that he can take this form in to next season because he was out of this world!

Nine points from our final four games was enough to see us climb another spot up to 11th! This is a whole nine places higher than where we were expected to finish. I couldn't ask for more in our first ever season in the Premier League, this is something that we will certainly be looking to build on in future seasons.
