Season One: December

As already established, the festive period would be a crucial time for the Hawks. Five, potentially 6, games would stand in our way over the next month and if we could fight our way through these games there was no doubt we would find ourselves in a strong position. Normally the schedule over this time s grueling and will challenge the players physically, more than anything, especially the big game on Boxing Day against local side Gosport Borough.

League Table

*sigh* Sorry guys, but I forgot to take a screenshot of the league table for this month, as I was really into the save at this point and flying through it. It doesn’t matter though, as it is fairly obvious that we would have still been top of the league.

Player of the Month

Alan Connell receives the award for ‘Player of the Month’ in December, his second POTM award of the season. The 31 year old forward scored in nearly every game this month, bagging a total of 7 goals. Connell was most definitely playing at the top of his game over the course of December, proving his credentials for the role alongside Bradley Bubb, up front. Him and JJ Hooper have both been competing for a regular position all season long, with both having been given plenty of opportunities and both having scored plenty of goals too, however this may just sway the decision towards Connell.

Overview

All in all, it was a good month for Havant & W, as again we turned in some rather impressive displays and our results were generally pleasing as well. We finally managed to beat Whitehawk, after a loss and a draw against them previously, and emphatically won in the next round of the cup afterwards too. Our local derby was a huge success, as we demolished Gosport and we followed that up with another victory against Bishop’s Stortford, cementing our position at the top of the league. The only downside was the league loss against Hemel Hempstead, especially since they were the team we had taken apart just a week earlier in the cup. Still, I can’t criticize the effort all of the players put in once more, and hope that this lasts for a long, long time.

In Other News…

• Nick Sherwood has been arrested for assault on the Eastbourne Boro chairman, after his application for the vacant managerial role, was rejected.
• A crazy Chelsea fan, nicknamed ‘Toxic’, was also arrested after he went on a mass killing spree in reaction to his team conceding a free-kick in their most recent game.
• No1VillaFan has admitted he had ‘lots of fun’ with Arsene Wenger’s wife and mother.

There's a hint of Ron-Robert Zieler about him too. Doing great, Pompey!
Isn't FM15 only, like, a week old? How did you get over 100 replies in this time?

The news section is one of the finest things I've ever read on this site, and the results aren't bad either.
Justice: Haha, who knows? If only he was as good as him! :P

P-KIDDY: I agree with that one, thanks buddy :)

qwertyman: Cheers dude, the early support I have had on this story really has been great!
Loving it as, I am a Havant lad ;)

Good to see my suggestion was taken into account. ;)
Josh: How could I dismiss such an excellent idea? ;)
Really enjoying this story, the way you lay out and write your posts is an example to be followed, lots of effort clearly goes into each piece, do keep it up.

It's good to see Havant doing so well. The Hemel Hempstead result must've been a bit of a shock after hammering them 5-0, but all-in-all you're doing brilliantly and will surely top the league with this sort of form. Good luck, and please continue for as long as you can.
