Grealish is going to be an Aston Villa legend. Already a star player for the side, I'm certain he'll develop into a national hero! :D

Neal Thanks, yeah I think he is going to become a Villa hero but amazingly Ireland are not picking him, which is puzzling

Villa Cannot Throw This Away Now!

Three games left for Champions League football

Aston Villa are now on the verge of a return to the top tier of European football for the first time since 1982, when they lifted the then called European Cup in Rotterdam. Aston Villa fans themselves finally now believe they can finish second in the league and jump straight into the Champions League group stages without having to qualify.

Aston Villa had a good month with one blip, a 5-2 defeat at the hand of Liverpool. The month though started with a 3-0 victory over Swansea but The Villans were forced to wait by a strong Swansea side until the 72nd minute and a rare Tom Cleverly goal and that opened the floodgates with wonderkid Alex Rowe and Dorin Rotariu finishing the job off in style and giving Villa a winning start.

Grealish hit a volley in the 5-0 win against Newcastle to open up the scoring

They were even better against the Magpies, when they smashed five home against them with Grealish getting the first with a trademark volley, Sterling hitting in two goals and then Rowe and Vlaar with the other two and Villa were flying at just the right time with Manchester United at the Ricoh Arena next.

Rotariu is putting pressure on Volland for his starting spot

That was a easier match than they were probably expecting. With Falcao not performing the way that United fans expected it was left to Rondon and Delph to get the goals to give Villa a 2-0 win. Delph had a fantastic game against United but spoilt it all seven days later against Liverpool.

When at 1-1 Delph produced a horror challenge on Mario Bellotelli and was sent off, Bellotelli then hit 4 goals in a 5-2 mauling of the side who is now expected to finish runners up in the Premier League, which would be there highest position since the Premier League was introduced back in 1992, a season in which Norwich finished in 3rd and Manchester United won the league.

Villa then followed the 5-2 defeat up with a glorious 2-2 draw against Chelsea.

Chelsea have already claimed the EE Premier League Title so the main interest is the race for the automatic Champions League places and who will go down this season.

Villa have 1 game in hand over Arsenal and Manchester United but are four points clear with Man City just two points behind Man Utd now, the rest are out of it. We expect Villa, Arsenal and Man Utd to get the Champions League football this season along with Chelsea.

Huddersfield are already relegated so Harry Redknapp will be back in the Championship next season and are likely to be joined by Forest and one of Newcastle, Wigan or Burnley.

Villa Player Of The Month

I am going to give this to Raheem Sterling, He has had it all this month, goals, assists and great work ethic. He will no doubt help Villa get into the most unlikely of Champions League this season.

The Finale!

Aston Villa are 4 points away from automatic Champions League football for next season. Tottenham, Wigan and West Ham stand in there way and they should get atleast 6 points out of that. If Villa can finish second it will be out of this world for them.
Unless you do a Liverpool style fall, you're getting CL football. Great season so far btw. The attacking threat you pose must be immense!

Very nice form! Funny to see Sterling scoring against LFC lol. Keep up this force!

Jack Yeah I have the form to make it and I think I could be successful in the Champions League back at the new 55,000 stadium that is Villa Park

Or.Dabool Haha yeah I know

Villa Make Champions League

Aston Villa finished the season with a whimper, although they did not lose any of the final three matches they did not play with the same gusto than they had done all season but it all started with Tottenham, where Salomon Rondon scored against his old club but Villa were not able to hold on and Villa came away with a 1-1 draw.

Then the West Ham game, Aston Villa were all over The Hammers so when Jack Grealish got the first goal on the 10th minute with a sublime 25 yard effort, we expected the floodgates to open. Rondon, Sterling and Grealish all went close again but Willy Caballero was in top form and it meant Villa won.

Grealish got the goal to defeat West Ham

But a disappointing draw against Wigan in the last match meant that Villa had dropped from second place to forth place in the EE Premier League.

So Chelsea win the title by 13 points to make it two titles in two years for Jose Mourinho's men but next season will be tougher with Man Utd and City, Villa and Arsenal all looking to improve.

Man Utd grab second by 3 points to Man City and then Villa 1 point behind Man City in forth. At the foot of the table however, Newcastle made the great escape on goal difference with Burnley going down. Swansea, though almost got relegated after a dismal run of form meant that they finished on 35 points too but had a way better goal difference than the other two sides.

Villa Player Of The Month

Salomon Rondon rightly claims the last month's Player Of The Month. He has been solid all season and is one of the favourites to win the Villa fans player of the season.

The striker has been a revelation in Aston Villa's rise to the top 4 and hopefully next season will score just as many goals as he has got this season.

Manager's Views

We have had an excellent season and although I am disappointed to finish forth but if at the beginning of the season I would have been told I would be unhappy that we only got forth I would have laughed. We have a great squad and is one that I will continue to add to this summer. I am going to be making a go at winning the title next season.
Congrats on champions league and 4th place it's a big thing to do in Premier league when you know that behind you on table are clubs like tottenham, liverpool, arsenal. Once again congrats on success.
WOW, what an end to the season, talk about up and down. With 30 games to go i thought you were going into a slide... then you hit 2nd place and look to be sailing... then you end up 4th!

Hell of a season, well done.

Can't imagine how the extra matches are going to affect your squad but you've been adding sensibly so i reckon you'll be ok.

The future starts here my friend!
Congrats on The UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE but no time to rest on your laurels close the gap on Chelski Bus Company and get a trophy in that cabinet!!!

Aston Villa Clear-Out Begins

With Aston Villa going to appear at the highest level of European Football next season they have decided to get rid of the deadwood to invest in the players that are deemed needed for next season's Champions League and Premier League assault.

Manager Paul McGrath is going to be busy over the summer with the congested fixture list about to get even mor econgrested but we ask, Who could leave and who will the transfer targets be this summer for Villa?

Transfers Out

It is understood that no less than seven players could be shown the door but the guy that is hot property at the moment is centre back Alessio Ramognoli.

The 22 year old Italian was being monitored by the likes of Lazio, Arsenal and Real Madrid in the January transfer window but with interest now from Barcelona, Man City and Juventus coupled with the fact that manager Paul McGrath could use the funds to buy more players for the upcoming campaign in the Champions League but Villa will no doubt look to sell for no less than £30,000,000.

Luc Castaignos is another that could be on the way out of Villa Park. The Dutchman who won his first ever international cap while at Villa has found himself move down the pecking order with youngsters Luca Jovic and Alex Rowe ahead of him to replace Salomon Rondon IF he ever got injured or had a dip in form but it did not happen once. He could be allowed to leave for around £8,000,000.

Micah Richards is another player that could leave. He is wanted by both Fulham and Wigan for extra depth as they bid to improve on there performances this season and avoid the drop again. It is thought he will command a price of around £4,000,000.

Gabby Agbonlahor has been at Aston Villa for 17 years but has finally been told he will have to move on. There is interest from Burnley and Lyon in France and with McGrath willing to sell for around £1,500,000 it means value for money for the 4 capped England star.

Players In

Ross Barkley has been missed out on by The Villans because he chose to move to Manchester United for £18,000,000 (which could rise to £30,000,000) and Villa manager Paul McGrath decided that he should look elsewhere. Barkley himself said it was only the fact United were automatically in the Champions League that he chose them. Aston Villa actually offered me more money worth £55,000 a week but Man Utd are guaranteed to be in the Champions League so I took the lower offer to make sure I was in the Champions League.

The second player of 5 possible targets is Nicklas Sule. The Hoffenheim defender was instrumental in helping them to 10th place in the Bundersliga this season and it is not known if the German club would sell the 21 year old and would probably ask for around £20,000,000 for the defender.

It is thought that Villa might look to replace Luc Castaignos with a younger striker so the Monaco 20 year old Ricardo Zivkovic might be an option for manager Paul McGrath or maybe McGrath will go back to Spurs and bid for 23 year old Harry Kane. Zivkovic will cost a lot more than Kane but is also a lot more proven at the highest level, although he is not known for his goalscoring proess. Kane on the other hand would cast around £4,500,000 compared to Zivkovic costing around £18,500,000 and Harry Kane will always add a few goals too.

http://i59.tinypic.com/2vwaf7m.jpg

The final target for now is a Centre midfielder as Benteleb looks to be out of favour and possibly on his way out and that is 21 year old Brendan Galloway from Everton. The Englishman had a big breakthrough season at Everton last season which saw his stock rise immensely and it is understood that Villa WILL bid around £15,000,000 for his services with Yohann Cabaye only having 2 or 3 seasons left in him.

Now that is only a snippit of what we at BT Sport think but be sure that Villa are probably looking into other targets soon but if anything happens you will hear it first here at BT Sport.

All comment sbeen thanked and i will comment on them soon :)
Nice! Champions League football at Villa Park woo! Süle would be a great signing aswell.

Niklas Sule Signs For Villa

Aston Villa manager Paul McGrath has started his summer transfer spree by spending £19,000,000 on Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule. The fee which could rise to £27,500,000 depending on appearances and goals also includes £8,000,000 of payments to be spread over 36 months.

The former Hoffenheim defender had been in Germany for 7 years prior to this move. The defender had played 115 games for Hoffendeim, scoring 5 goals with 3 assists and also claimed 7 man of the match awards in his time at Hoffenheim but is looking forward to playing in England next season.

I can not wait to test my abilities in the EE Premier League said the German, to have a chance to play in the Champions League for this amazing club was a no brainer and I hope to show the fans of Aston Villa that I could really play on the biggest stage.

Alessio Romagnoli is on his way out, according to reports

It is understood that Alessio Romagnoli will be on his way out after the signing of Sule and with Real Madrid, Juventus and Dortmund after the Italian it is thought that Villa will get big money for the centre back.
MisterLister Thanks :) I think we can make a title assault next season now too

Ziechael Haha, I new we had a chance at the top 4 I am just disappointed that we threw away second place with some sloppy performances and we can hadle the extra matches

Iconic Yeah I know I need to get my squad sorted out now!

Zap I know he would :)
looks like you could receive quite a bit of silly money for your players. could make a title challenging team from it ;)
