Thanks, I've been very happy about with the season and especially my transfers getting Bakkali and Fierro for free.

Bernard is the player of the month for Inter Milan in the final month of the season due to his fine play all month long especially because he picked up a goal in each of the final derby's that put the stamp on the end of the year and will be a good boost into next season.

League Table

Coppa Italia Final Gameday

Today is the day of the Coppa Italia between Inter Milan and underdogs Cagliari. Inter Milan finished 8th in Serie A this year but remember they had a 20 point deduction due to the match fixing scandal early last year that saw their former manager sacked and also a player was forced to leave the club as a result, but if it wasn't for that Inter would be playing in the Champions League next year but because it happened there is a lot more on the line today as they are fighting for european football for next season. Cagliari flouted around mid table all season long before finishing up one spot behind Inter in 9th place.

Cagliari are lead by Marco Sau who scored 23 goals for Cagliari this year and if they are to win this game today you'd have to think he has to play well. Inter Milan are led by Mateo Kovacic, the young Croatian midfielder has been instrumental for the Nerazzurri this season by dictating the pace of every game he has played in this year including scoring two goals and nine assists. The first time these two met was at the end of October where they battled it out to a 2-2 draw, the second time saw Cagliari take all three points from the game thanks to two goals in the first five minutes.

Now it's time for kick-off, let's get down to the pitch.

Inter Milan have won the 2014 Coppa Italia! Inter Milan have defeated Cagliari 3-0 to win the Coppa Italia for the 8th time as a club. Dodo was the man of the match picking one assist as well, he was vital on the defensive as well as in the counter attacking game. Andrea Ranocchia opened the scoring in the 52nd minute off of a free kick whipped in by Wellington Nem and Ranocchia was the first to get to it as he headed it home. Then in the 59th minute 16 year old wonderkid Martin Odegaard put Inter up by 2 when Wellington Nem once again gave him a pass inside the box that Odegaard made no mistake with. To cap it all off European Wonderkid Mauro Icardi scored again in the 71st minute to put it out of reach for sure when Dodo whipped in a cross that was met by a Icardi header.

Inter Milan are ecstatic with the win as they will now be in the Europa League and now have something to build of off to go into next year with.
Well done in the Coppa Italia, Odegaard is really something I should try him... Btw we've been linked with Bernard in real life aswell, Mancini wants him :P

Thanks, I was definitely not expecting Odegaard to be making this big of an impact so early. Ya Bernard has been the signing of the season for me by taking some of the load off of Wellington Nem when attacking from the wings.

As the 2014-2015 Serie A season has now came to close it is now time to wrap it up as Juventus has came out victorious by winning the league with 93 points with Carlos Tevez's 24 goals propelling them towards the title. Unfortunately Parma, Geneo and Empoli have been relegated into Serie B because of disapointing seasons for all three of these teams. With that being said Catania, Virtus Entella and Perugia have been promoted and will be enjoying life in Serie A next year. Sampdoria and AC Milan will be joining Juventus in the Champions League next year and Inter Milan, Napoli and Roma will be representing Italy in the Europa League and all three of these teams will be favored to go deep into the competition.

It was a successful campaign for Inter Milan as they finished 8th in the league after a 20 point deduction to start the season after a match fixing scandal. It was a strong start to the year as they went the first 16 games unbeaten but in 2015 the results dropped off a little bit but still strong enough to finish with the second highest goal differential, tied for the least amount of losses and if it wasn't for the point deduction it would've seen them finish 3rd and they would be playing in the Champions League next season.

The final three weeks of the season were definitely the most exciting as a fan because Inter won two huge derbies against Juventus and Milan then going on to beat Cagliari to win the Coppa Italia. Inter also had some lows in the season when they lost to teams like Cesena, Cagliari and Torino in the campaign.

Inter Milan's best player this year was Mateo Kovacic setting the pace, dictating play and setting up goals. He was the standout player of the year for Inter Milan and at the age of only 20 he has a bright future ahead of him. Mauro Icardi won the most prestigious individual award a young player can win by winning European Golden Boy in 2014 and continuing that form into 2015 by scoring a total of 20 goals in Serie A which was good enough for him to finish 2nd in the league in goals behind Carlos Tevez. The biggest surprise of the year was Norwegian teenager Martin Odegaard who played a heavy role late in the season as he played in the final 11 games for the Nerazzurri as he is now the youngest player to appear for Inter Milan and is the youngest Serie A goal scorer for the club when he scored a goal against Parma.

Team of the Year

Dani Osvaldo and Hernanes made it to the Team of the Year from Inter Milan

Top Goalscorers

Mauro Icardi from Inter Milan finished 2nd in scoring with 20 goals
A successful season i'd say. Some strong results towards the end of the season against some top teams suggest a bright season ahead and the cup win solidifies your building morale and momentum.

Couldn't agree with you more.

Manchester United Interested In Figo

Manchester United have set their sets on signing Inter Milan head coach Luis Figo as their new manager. Manchester had another disappointing campaign that saw them finish outside of the Champions League for the second year in a row for the first time since 1990. They decided to part ways with Dutch manager Louis van Gaal after making it clear they needed to make it into the Champions League. Whoever Manchester United decide to sign as their new coach it will be their fourth manager in four years, many have regarded this next season a make or brake season for Manchester United.

United have made it clear that they are interested in first year Inter Milan manager Luis Figo as they are impressed with how he lead Inter Milan in a time of crisis and need him to do the same for Manchester United. United have also shown interest in PSG manager Laurent Blanc.

Figo Turns Down Manchester United

Luis Figo has turned down Manchester Untied as he admitted in an interview this morning when he made a statement. "Yes, Manchester United did offer me the head coaching role at their club. As much of an honor it would be to manage such a great club like Manchester United, I had to turn it down because I love this club too much and I want to be the guy to take this club back to the promise land and out of this darkness we have had ever since the great season of 2010. I would like to tell Inter Milan and all of our fans that I'm here for the long run and want to make this club into a world power once again, which I think can happen in the not too distant future."

It is also rumored that even though Manchester United aren't in the Champions League this year he was offered a transfer budget over one hundred million dollars as well as over five million per week in wage budget. Laurent Blanc is now the front-runner for the Manchester United job as they need to new manager to take them back into the Champions League.
You have done good to stay to Inter .
what tactic are using as my inter career has us seventh at the minute, and not playing the most consistent football
I would like to know what happened to louis van gaal? Like how did he fail?

I'm doing a 4231 with 2 CM's and 2 wingers, playing attacking and fluid.
