Pre-Season Review

Inter had a good start to the year going undefeated in the five games the Nerazzurri played. Inter started by taking on Motherwell in a game in which they won 1-0 in Scotland, then they went onto play Hercules where they handled the dutch side easily with a 5-0 victor. Then they went to manager Luis Figo's home country of Portugal where they beat Boavista 1-0 and had their only disapointing result of the preseason when they tied Nacional de Madeira 2-2. Inter finished the preseason off with a match against Korean side Jeonnam in which they won 2-0.

2014-11-27 11:55#201543 mgriffin2012 : what tactic are using as my inter career has us seventh at the minute, and not playing the most consistent football

I'm doing a 4231 with 2 CM's and 2 wingers, playing attacking and fluid.

Thanks, but what about player roles??
Loving the layout on the reports, very unique :) Keep it up.

Inter Milan are making it obvious that they are working toward the future no signing one player over the age of 24. Inter Milan broke their highest fee ever payed for a player when they bought Adnan Januzaj for $69 million from Manchester United. Januzaj has the potential to be one of the best players in the world when he reaches his full potential. Inter also signed Roberto Pereyra on a free from rivals Juventus to bolster the midfield of the Nerazzurri with a player who knows what its like to play for a good team in Serie A. Figo kept this trait going as he signed Marco van Ginkel who was on loan at AC Milan over the past year but was owned by Chelsea until Inter bough him this summer. Inter Milan also improved their back line by signing former Torino right-back Matteo Darmian and Freiburg center-back Marc-Oliver Kempf in a hope to improve the back line of the Nerazzurri.

Inter Milan also looked to the far future by signing Zakaria Bakkali, Marco Rog, Micheal Ventre, Vincenzo Bagnara and Giangiacomo Olivieri.
Big moves for the Nerazzurri as they sold European Golden Boy who scored 20 goals in Serie A for the club last year but rumors are that the club had no choice in the matter as he wanted to pursue Champions League football and he wouldn't be getting that at Inter Milan anytime soon. Also they sold influential 30 year old midfielder Hernanes as Figo wanted to get out with the older players and bringing in the younger players that have a long career in-front of them. Saphir Taider made it clear to Luis Figo when he got back from loan at Southampton that he does not want to continue his career at Inter Milan as he forced a move away from inter Milan to Roma. Inter Milan also got rid of some dead wood as they sold Joel Obi, Lukas Spendlhofer, Diego Laxalt and George Puscas.

Great Story so far, it's a shame that you lost Icardi, he is one of my favourite strikers in the game

Thanks, I know I was sad day when I let him go but he wanted to go play in the Champions League as well as that Man City money. I think Fierro will be a great replacement for him though.
