Fuckkkkkk.... club icon gone, and in the toughest season ever for the club. Good luck with this calamity.

The World Is Not Enough
The loss of Reyes is an absolutely brutal one. Bond will have to pull off a miracle to salvage this.
Feliks Have him for the rest of the season, just need him to keep us up.
Neal It really is 007 time.

January 2016: Steaming Along

In the new year we went full steam ahead
Before the new year arrived we found some momentum. Points were picked up and morale was significantly improved within the 'Los Gallegos' camp. The one downer of the month was the news about club icon Jesús Reyes announcing he would leave at the end of his contract.
January Results

Our month began on a prolific note against Socopó as we demolished the struggling side five goals to one. Reyes struck twice in the first half while both Marcelo Borges and Víctor Archila scored in between those two goals to make it 4-0 at the break. Substitute Dervis Barrera put the nail in the coffin in a fantastic victory.
Ureña FC were next and they met a very confident Hermandad Gallega side, my boys were not ready to slip up just yet and this game was even more comprehensive than the last. Reyes was at his goal scoring best whilst Marcelo Borges has hit a purple patch of form and is fast becoming a crowd favourite. Christian Carabalí was raised to right wing and showed how much of a danger he can be, slotting home two chances inside fifteen minutes. Barrera also did what he does best, making an impact off of the bench as we collected a win that will boost goal difference a lot.
Confidence was high but complacency was lurking ahead of our local clash with Carabobo B. Archila and Dervis Barrera, for the third time in three games, scored and we held on valiantly when we conceded a consolation to make it another win.
After that it was an away trip to bottom side Mineros de Guyana B who were well and truly the worst side in the league. A 1-0 win was not good enough, despite us accumulating three points from the game, and it showed that our recent form was putting our head in the clouds.
January Table

After hitting form ahead of undoubtedly our easiest set of fixtures for the season we've managed to hit the top half of the table - just. We're now very clear of relegation but know if we slip into a bad patch of form we're going to be dragged down once again and we know how tough it is to break out of a slump.
January Player of the Month

While I expect Reyes to score plenty of goals, for Dervis Barrera to score three in three games on the trot, from the bench means he's doing something right. This player is potential captain material and his form could mean he slips into the starting lineup in the near future.
Transfer Talk: Reyes Replacement
I've sent my scouts out to find a replacement for our star striker Reyes, who will be departing in July 2016. We've been sent a couple of reports on players, and we may have a replacement arriving as early as late January. Watch this space.
Very nice month, keep plowing forward! You look very stable and mid-table so far, which is nice.
Feliks Oh yes
Justice Uh-huh. His managerial prowess is slowly on the rise
Neal Yeah need to make sure we don't fall into a rut again.

Brazilian Striker Agrees Deal

Vitinho was presented to the press and fans alike
Shortly after news came out of talisman striker Jesús Reyes' departure on a Bosman transfer to Liga Movistar club Tucanes del Amazonas, Hermandad Gallega have announced that they have captured the signature of Brazilian striker Vitinho on a free transfer.
Not much is known about Vitinho, 24, except that the Brazilian prefers to play in the whole behind the striker or up top himself. The new signing at the Polideportivo Misael Delgado is also very versatile, as he can also ply his trade on either flank in defence.
Vitinho signs on a £425 a week contract which runs until 2018. He also has a clause which ensures he will be the highest earner at 'Los Gallegos' and a bumper pay rise of 50% if the club manages to rise to the top division.
The new signing expressed his delight at joining the club, stating, "This is a new opportunity for me in a new country and I want to impress the new boss and fans with goals and whatever it takes for the team to win."
This transfer represents the third foreign free transfer manager James Bond has done this season, and if Vitinho can replicate the form both countryman Marcelo Borges and Argentine Juan Malerba have, then he will be a solid signing.

Die Another Day

Venezuela's picturesque views
Nowadays James Bond couldn't manuever his way through the wide, populated streets of Valencia quite so easily like he used to. This was in no small part due to the fact that his team, Hermandad Gallega FC, were playing great football and pushing on towards promotion from the Segunda Venezolana.
Bond, however, usually kept to himself. Some people, obviously football fans, would point him out in the street but he just smiled and brushed past them. With his now fairly good Spanish he could make his way around the city with a little bit more confidence.
Today he was strolling towards a small bar where he went to get a drink every couple of nights. He was now seen as a regular there but no one bothered him while inside, and he found time to relax. Bond passed a large group of people and now found himself walking across the opening of an alley.
That was when two large, white headlights blinded him. He turned quickly but the shiny, black BMW was already speeding towards him. Bond jumped out of the way and ran in to the middle of the road through onrushing traffic. He got in the way of an old, rich man who was driving in a vintage, pale blue, Aston Martin DB4, not something you'd usually see in Venezuela.
Bond opened the door and climbed in. Against the man's protests he pushed him aside and rushed off with the BMW in hot pursuit. Bond zig-zagged through the traffic and ignored the successive horns that displayed the drivers displeasure with his disorderly and reckless driving through the crowded intersection.
Narrowly avoiding two incoming cards Bond swiveled right and raced through another three wide avenues before turning into a more isolated road that cut through a jungle-like area where the road sliced through the trees and cars only came few and far between.
Soon the suburban road turned into an isolated freeway that ran alongside the edge of a cliff. Bond heard the sound of waves and that meant water, and probably beaches. Bond sped along the very edge of the road and noticed the BMW edging closer.
A huge thud occurred and the Aston Martin was nearly thrown over the edge. Bond swirled around in one quick turn and now found himself behind the BMW. Now the tables had turned. The BMW pulled the same stunt but Bond had seen it well before and sped off down the road a few metres ahead of his counterpart.
Bond stopped on the edge of the road and paused. The cliff was a sandy one. It was soft and not very steep. The BMW roared on behind and Bond hit his foot on the accelerator, sending the DB4 down the soft cliff. Before the trailing car could brake he skidded to try and stay on the road. He lost control and went over the edge, rolling down the hill and right in front of Bond in his car.
There was one last smash as the once slick, black BMW fell into the overgrown vegetation - damaged, broken and demolished. Bond sat there, under the blanket of stars, thinking over what had just happened.
Good update, great car chase, but one thing missing...
