Swansea Survive after hard fought Relegation Battle.

It was a tough season for the Swans, but a Matchday 37 shock win over Arsenal was enough to guarantee safety for another season. After a start that saw the Swans win 2 out of their first 3 league matches, the side struggled for a two month period in which the Swans won just one out of 11. However, the signing of Paul Pogba and the hiring of Vincenzo Montella were able to lift the Swans out of 19th and push them towards safety.

Coming into Matchday 37, the Swans were just a point off the relegation zone and in poor form. They were coming off a 4-0 loss to City and a 2-0 loss to West Brom, and with Arsenal in their future, the fans were preparing for the harsh reality of relegation. Paul Pogba and Edin Dzeko had different ideas, and the two combined twice to give the Swans a 2-0 lead coming into halftime. Danny Welbeck was able to get a late consolation goal, but it was too little, too late for Arsenal. Other results around the league gave the Swans a 4 point cushion coming into Judgement day, ensuring safety in the Premier League.

It's still early in the window, but the Swans have already made a couple crucial moves. Eden Hazard, former Chelsea and Aston Villa superstar, joined for a bargain 29M, while Depay left for 35M to West Brom. Bruno Martins Indi and Aymeric Laporte have joined to solidify the defense, while Danny Ings, Jonjo Shelvey, and Nathan Dyer were the ones making way for the new signings. The action is far from over though, as the Swans are rumored to have been probing the foreign market. Defense Midfield and Right Wing seem to be the priority for the Swans, and a new keeper would probably be a step in the right direction as well.
