In the final month of the season we bagged our second consecutive league title as we ran away with the Championship trophy. We only played two games throughout this month, as the back end of May was dominated by preparations for next year in the top-flight. We played two Yorkshire based sides who applauded our exploits this season as we march on into the Premier League.

Well, this is it. The final Sky Bet Championship league table. We led the way by a six point gap on second-placed Derby County who were finally promoted after years of Premier League exile. In the Play-Off Final, West Brom made an instant return to the top-flight with a 3-1 victory against Leeds United at Wembley. At the bottom of the table, it is Birmingham City, Millwall and Middlesbrough who are succumbed to a 2020/2021 League One campaign.

With the Brazilian bagging a £10,000 pay rise in the month of May, he certainly rewarded my faith by bagging three goals in the two games we played this month, capping off the season which he joined in January tremendously.

Congrats on the League win and man did you fire the goals in. Might have to fix the defence up a tad
125 goals is crazy :O
ninjaskill: I gotta agree with you about my defence, letting in so many is something that needs to be sorted :))

Justice: That's where Matthew Fletcher gets you ;)
Congrats on the league win

The transfer window has opened up in England and Bradford Park Avenue have brought in an excessive amount of youngsters.

Fresh from promotion to the Premier League, Adam Chabukiani has spent the first batch of the £100,000,000 he has received from the league on new young players from Britain and beyond.

With six players from the British Isles, three from South America, two from Holland, one from Algeria and the other from Portugal, the Under-21's will certainly be a continental mix.

All the players signed up were on free transfers and all of the British-based signings were all signings from Premier League clubs who had released them at the end of last season.

But with Chabukiani renowned for his eye for youth in his teams, it comes to no surprise that his first movements are in favour of younger players.

From Britain, he has snapped up Arsenal's Courtney Holmes, West Ham United's Stuart Davidson, Arsenal's David Hewitt, Newcastle's Jack Dixon and Chelsea's Gary McKeown and Josh Smith.

However, more continentally, the players joining from South America are Sport Recife's Neto and Tigre's Luciana Pesce and Gerardo Giménez.
Algerian defender Abbes Bouchouk joins alongside Dutch duo Wouter Rozema and Richard Moonen as well as Portuguese José Carlos Monteiro Bessa - he will probably be receiving a nickname sometime soon!

With this list of signings, Bradford PA have also now announced their released and retained list. Here are the players who will be leaving the club for definite at the end of June:
First Team:

Gary Cahill.

Development Team:

Robbie Hippolyte, Lewis Jennings, Grant Getty, Elliott Morgan, George Quinn, Jeremy Hodder, Chris Baker, Ross Perry, John Bennett, Paul Lamb, Sean Parkin and John Payne.
Holy crap £100,000,000
Just a bit of money...
Tiny bit of money in the PL at the minute then? ;)
MJK46: Well, it's not money that I can spend, but it's money coming into the club! I agree it's huge!

Griffo: Well, welcome to the Premier League ;)

mgriffin2012: Nah, it's just pocket change mate ;)

Bradford Park Avenue have completed their first senior signings of the 2020/2021 season, bagging three of the best buys of the summer so far.

With contracts expiring on 1st July 2020, Avenue have gone straight in with three massive players.

After signing up thirteen youngsters with the purpose of developing them into future first-team players, Adam Chabukiani has purchased three new players with the purpose of putting them straight into the first-team.

The first player to join on a free transfer is Marseille's Rémy Cabella who is valued already at £20,000,000. The club could easily make a huge profit on the Frenchman but they will look to get their full use out of the player first.

Cabella has one year's experience in the Premier League with Newcastle United who signed the midfielder for £8million from Montpellier.

However the 30-year-old fell unhappy under Steve McClaren at St. James' Park and went on an initial loan to Ligue 1's Marseille. 31 appearances later, he agreed a £5.75million figure with the French club to move there permanently where he has flourished ever since.

He has signed for Bradford PA on a three-year deal until 2023 by which time he will be 33 years old. He is said to be earning £40,000 per week.

Tunisian Aymen Abdennour has also joined the club on a free transfer as Avenue approach their Premier League season. Like Cabella, Abdennour has a history in the French leagues, with three years at Toulouse and three at AS Monaco.

In his most recent spell at Valencia, he was dubbed one of the most creative centre-backs in the league, with seven assists in the Liga BBVA season in 2017/18.

At 30 years old, Abdennour has racked up a combined transfer total of £29million, with Valencia paying £17million for the Tunisian's services in 2015 from AS Monaco. He will be a definite starter for Avenue this season, as Chabukiani finds his replacement for Gary Cahill who wasn't willing to sign a new deal with the club.

Bradford have had a good track record of signing Chelsea players in recent years, with Ross Turnbull, Ola Aina, Gary Cahill, Gary McKeown and Josh Smith in the past three years. They have now bagged their talented left-back Andrew Robertson on a three-year deal.

Bought for £11million following Hull City's relegation from the Premier League, the Scot was a first-team regular under Zinedine Zidane since joining in 2018. Throughout his time at Stamford Bridge, the full-back improved considerably ability-wise.

But Zidane failed to tie the player down to a long term deal before Bradford PA nipped in with a £20,000 per week contract on a pre-contract basis. With Miguel Layún placed on the transfer list by Chabukiani, Robertson is expected to be a more domestic replacement for the Mexican.

After Cabella, Abdennour and Robertson arrived at Horsfall Stadium, Bradford PA have had to make ends meet with five massive sales.

The first player to leave was Australian midfielder Josh Burns who joins Leeds United for a fee of £425,000.

Burns failed to make a single appearance for Avenue since joining the club in 2019. He arrived in West Yorkshire from the Australian Centre of Excellence - the same way first-team star Ben Blackmore arrived at Bradford.

However, the midfielder couldn't attain a work permit to play in England until this year, when Bradford found him surplus to requirements. He spent his time on loan to Barnsley where he only made one appearance last season. Leeds' officials must have seen something in the Australian as he joins them for a reasonable fee.

Miguel Layún found himself leaving England this summer as he joins Liga BBVA side Rayo Vallecano for a fee of £800,000.

The Mexican left-back was a pivotal part in Bradford PA's final promotion season after joining from Watford at the beginning of last season on a free transfer. Competing with Tony Cooke, Layún appeared 40 times in all competitions last season.

However at 32 years old, his move to Rayo will probably be his swansong move as he approaches the end of his playing career.

In Bradford Park Avenue's biggest received fee in their history, Kelechi Iheanacho has completed a £7.5million move to Dutch giants AFC Ajax.

With Iheanacho arriving at Bradford in July 2019, he scored ten goals in twenty games for the then-Championship team. He worked well alongside legendary Matthew Fletcher with his great pace tearing defences apart.

He will now face the tough challenge of playing against the world's best in the UEFA Champions League for Ajax, with the club currently managerless, Ajax have rumoured to have even approached the manager who sold them the striker - Adam Chabukiani.

Following up to the large fee paid out by Ajax for Iheanacho, Brentford have paid their Premier League rivals Bradford £6.5million for their talented winger Jordan Graham.

Graham was excellent in his first season at the club in League One - he bagged the most assists award that season with an incredible tally of 23 in 37 league games. This came as a shock to Wolves fans who had rarely seen him play.

Under Chabukiani, Graham earned his first Republic of Ireland caps due to such great form under the Georgian. In a recent interview following Avenue's Championship title win, Graham admitted that he owes most of his career to Chabukiani's talent and encouragement.

Graham has now paid that gratitude back in his contribution to the team over the two seasons he was at Horsfall Stadium, as well as the fee that Brentford paid for the Irishman.

Finally, the last permanent move out of Bradford at the moment is the £2.2million that Derby County have paid for Avenue skipper Matty James.

With Kasjusz Piwowarczyk leaving the club after the League Two promotion campaign, it was brand new free transfer Matty James who took the captains armband from the Polish centre-back.

From then on, the former Leicester and Manchester United midfielder made 84 appearances in all competitions throughout the League One and Championship phase, captaining the team to title glory both times.

Claiming that Chabukiani was up there with the likes of his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson went to show how well the Bradford boss' player management is over at Horsfall Stadium, creating an overall family feel to the club according to the 28-year-old.

In terms of temporary departures away from the club, Roger Pursehouse has gone on loan to Alfreton for the fourth consecutive season. New Brazilian signing Neto has gone on loan to Mexican side CD León. New Portuguese signing José Carlos Monteiro Bessa has gone on loan to Bradford's official feeder club Ebbsfleet.

The most surprising departures are former first-team regulars Tony Cooke and Kyle Williams going out on season-long loans to Ipswich Town and Sunderland respectively.

Cabella was brilliant for me with Marseille, hopefully he can be even half as good and you'll have a quality player on your books!
Some very big fees there, especially Kelechi! :O It'd be interesting to see where he ends up, it has been quite a career for him so far!
mgriffin2012: Well that is extremely encouraging to know! He was one of my best buys without a doubt and I'm excited to see where this all goes!

Justice: He's scored a hat-trick in Ajax's first preseason game, so at least he's started well ;)
