2015-12-12 17:48#222972 Erdnaxela : Very good first month here. Hazard seems to be in a better form than in real life. It is really hard to choose between Pedro and Willian isn't it ?

I also like to play like this :
Hazard - Willian - Pedro

But against tougher opponent (United, City, Arsenal) I like to put Willian on the right because he defends better than Pedro.

Oscar did not gave me a lot of satisfaction in my game and I will maybe sell him at the end of the season. Juventus are really interested by him, a £30M transfer.

Yeah...a good first month. Building confidence. hoping to have a better sep month. Hazard is just brilliant here. Its not that hard to choose between pedro and willian. Pedro is a good offensive player with great crossing but willian is better with pace and finishing..pedro has better mental stats (obviously) and willian has better physical attributes. For me...willian is the first choice. Pedro is rotational. Oscar is good for me. I mean not scoring or assisting but his anticipation and inceptions with creating a good play is all important for me. I have not yet decided if i will sell him or not. Long time to decide.

Champions League: Group D

Chelsea have been placed into Group d of the Champions League this season and have been given a relatively competitive group. They will have Real Madrid, Borussia Moenchengladbach and Basel to compete with for top spot.

September was an abysmal month for Ancelotti and his blue boys. Nothing went right. Everything went wrong and with every consecutive match, the team looked worse and more dull. Chelsea did start the month with an absolute stunner of a match against their title rival Arsenal. Media claimed it to be a revenge show for Chelsea as they were defeated by Arsenal before in Community Shield. The offense is getting stronger and stronger but there is a down side. The defense is getting bad to worse within 6 matches. One win out of three pl matches, Out of COC and loss to their first two CL matches was not the way Ancelotti hoped Chelsea to have faired in September.

Yeah man....:( :( :(

Chelsea's Player of the Month

Though, a very bad month for Chelsea but a ray of hope for Ancelotti as his front men are all on form. The likes of Costa, Hazard and Willian have been performing well but the man who stood out was Oscar. He might not have achieved the status of being a world class midfielder but he sure as hell is one of the most exciting and promising Brazil's export. He has 16 interceptions and 40 key passes with 2 goals and 2 assists to his name. He might not have helped Chelsea make anything good out of it but looking at the personal accolade, Oscar sure deserves to be at the top of the pile for September.

Manager's Thought

This was simply a ridiculous month for me. The month was action packed with many many goals to score and also numerous goals to concede. The front four: Costa, Hazard, Oscar, Willian/pedro looked sharp and very poised but I am concerned with the defense. It was very frustrating to see us concede goals out of nowhere. The back line just could not stop the opposition from scoring goals. Great examples for this is the match against Liverpool. We were three nil up and the match ended with 3-all draw. You can imagine the shock and frustration. To further put oil in the fire, we absolutely humiliated ourselves in front of our fans when we lost opening two Champions League matches against Gladbach and Basel, the two games I've had hoped we'd win. We are on the verge of getting ourselves knocked out of the CL in the group stages and we have not yet faced Real Madrid. I have completely changed my mindset now and will totally focus on how to not concede goals. Benatia was injured at August's end. We do not expect him to return till Oct mid. We don't have any tough fixture in October excluding Real Madrid. So I believe its time to change things here, make some major changes with the tactics. Lets hope Oct gives us and the fans, reason to cheer.

What a turn around. After a forgettable month, Chelsea comes back roaring. Most pundits claimed that Ancelotti has lost his touch but this proves why he is one of the greatest manager around. A clean sweep, brilliant results. Chelsea beats Real Madrid 4 goals to nil. It was an unbelievable sight at the bridge. It was the sign that proved why Chelsea are PL champions. Chelsea scored 18 goals this month and conceding just 1.

What an amazing month, and what a result against Madrid !
great october, my fellow countrymen :D

Chelsea Player of the Month

Cesar Azpilicueta

We had an exceptional month. With the side losing their grip on the title in september. We surely changed a lots of heads around and picked ourselves up. Every single player played to his limits. Though, once again Hazard was the unsung hero for October but to change a certain perspective, it was the defense line that actually proved worthy this month. After a disastrous september when the back four had no idea how to stop goals from getting in, October was the month where the opposition was awe-struck and were made fools out of themselves. With conceding only one, this month's player award goes to Azpilicueta. He has always been ever-present for chelsea with his wing back role but this time it was more to that. 26 year old left/right back has been in truly outstanding form, notching an impressive form, noting an impressive tally of two goals and 4 assists.
AZPILI is a great one to watch in real life ;)
You had a tough month there in September.
But great turn in October, truly amazing month. Specially this 4-0 to Real Madrid wow :D
