Yeah got the feeling he's going to be a great addition! Ahh man he dropped his demands quite a lot when we opened talks though if that helps!
Thanks mate! To get him on a free was brilliant and you're right he's going to add an awful lot more quality to our midfield!

Manchester City have been crowned the UEFA Europa League Champions after a tense final at the Friends Arena in Solna. Kevin de Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and the club captain Vincent Kompany helped power the Citizens to their first ever European Trophy and they’ll be hoping that it can be a foundation for future success in the UEFA Champions League.
The billionaire backed club didn’t have it all their way in Sweden though as Internazionale took the lead after 56 minutes when Vincent Kompany fouled Geoffrey Kondogbia in the penalty area and the resulting penalty was slotted home by Marco Asensio to give Inter the lead. However just 7 minutes later Internazionale were pegged back when a fantastic flowing move saw Kevin de Bruyne exchange passes with Yaya Toure and Joao Mario before slipping in David Silva who fired the ball past Handanovic in the Inter goal.
The game moved into extra time as both teams tightened up at the back to try and secure the trophy and with the game heading towards a penalty shootout it was the English side who grabbed their opportunity and scored the winner. Raheem Sterling was the hero as Kevin de Bruyne saw the English winger running into space on the right wing and pinged a fantastic ball over to Sterling who smashed it past Handanovic to hand Man City the UEFA Europa League Trophy.

FC Lorient came from behind to win only their second major trophy and beat PSG to win the 2016-2017 Coupe de France title. In a game where PSG dominated and consistently poured forward, it was Sylvain Ripoli’s side who hit the French Champions on the break to secure the trophy for the first time since 2002.
The first half was played out at a frantic tempo which saw PSG make a very enthusiastic start and show why they were the pre match favourites. That pre match favourite tag really shown through in the 78th minute when a fantastic passing move culminated in Angel Di Maria slipping Brazilian Bernard through on goal, with the former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder placing his effort to the right of Benjamin Lecomte to put PSG on their way to a League and Cup Double.
However it was then Lorient’s time to shine as Pavle Ninkov struck a fantastic equaliser in the 85th minute, from just outside of the penalty area which flew past Salvatore Sirigu in the PSG goal to take the game into extra time. From there it was Lorient who looked the favourites and with momentum on their side they pulled themselves back in front as Benjamin Moukandjo delivered a fantastic ball into the box which was met by former Lyon striker Yassine Benzia who smashed the ball past Sirigu to secure the win for Lorient and put the trophy in the hands of the underdogs, leaving PSG deflated.
