Keep fighting mate! To say you've just been promoted, you're in a marvellous position, even if you were helped by the rather healthy transfer budget ;)
Keep going mate, you still have that promotion spot and you've only just been promoted so it is incredibly impressive thus far!
2016-06-29 21:39#234669 L0rdArt : Not too bad, but you will need more points next month!

Nope you're right it hasn't been good enough and we'll need to pick our form up if we're really going to push for promotion!

2016-06-30 04:54#234678 Griffo : Ah keep fighting hard and doing the little things right and you might find yourself in a good enough position!

I hope so man, really want us to go up to Serie B next year!!

Will do man! Still a lot left to play for! Yeah I keep forgetting we only came up last season! That transfer budget was barely spent though man ;)

Will do man, just got to keep our heads up and grind out results if need be!

LEGA PRO GIRONE A PREVIEW: PRO PATRIA VS. PARMA

Date: 19 February 2017
Kick Off: 15:00

Pro Patria
Based In: Busto Arsizio
Position: 5th
Manager: Alessio Pala
Captain: Giuseppe Capua
Key Player: Alessandro Bordin
Injuries & Suspensions: Alessandro Bordin
Last Match: 0-2 Vs. Venezia
Form:

Fans Prediction: ”It was a really poor performance against Venezia that meant we slipped to a defeat and fell behind Parma in the race for the Play Offs. However we’ve been in really good performance whilst they’ve been in relatively poor form of late. If we can try and exploit their weaknesses like teams have been doing of late and unlike Cremonese did, then I think we can get the result we really want.”

Parma
Based In: Parma
Position: 3rd
Manager: Paolo Vanoli
Captain: Alessandro Lucarelli
Key Player: Denis Baumgartner
Injuries & Suspensions: Michele Messina, Federico Piovaccari, Simone Corazza Francesco Corapi
Last Match: 4-0 Vs. Cremonese
Form:

Fans Prediction: ”It’s true we’ve not been brilliant of late and we’ve struggled to hold a lead when we’ve got it and it has seen us slip further away from that automatic promotion spot and out of the Play Off spots. However that win against Cremonese has to be a big boost to the confidence of both the players and the fans and if we can just stay in that frame of mind for this game then we can get a positive result. We have a good squad but they aren’t confident at the minute and they need to keep getting the right results starting here.”

I think you will get the win here MG!

League Table

Player of the Month

Mattia Minesso

The playmaker has been an incredible part of Parma’s return to form in the last month and has played extremely well as Parma closed the gap on Vicenza as well as qualified for the final of the Coppa Italia Lega Pro. Having signed on a free transfer from Cittadella in the summer, the attacking midfielder has averaged a 9.0 rating in all of his appearances this summer, scoring one goal and assisting 7 goals and has seen his value shoot up to £1.2 Million and there are rumours that Serie A clubs could be interested in the summer.

Injuries

Federico Piovaccari. For the striker, signed on a free transfer in the summer, it has been a frustrating season although before his injury he was starting to reclaim his place in the starting XI of the season, but a back strain means he will miss the next 11 days.

Next Month

Another huge month, where for the first time in ages our sole focus is on the league. The big one is of course the fixture against Vicenza at the Ennio Tardini, which follows a difficult trip to Bassano. After the visit of Vicenza, Parma then travel to Alessandria for a difficult game against mid table opposition before a resurgent FeralpiSalo will visit the Ennio Tardini in a game which on paper could be easy but could be a potential hiccup for Parma.

Manager’s Thoughts

A much better month. Some much improved performances in the league where we’ve reclaimed our place in the Play Offs after slipping out temporarily and then going on to close the gap on the top of the league, giving us real optimism of being able to snatch that automatic promotion spot. The performance levels have been incredibly high this month and I am extremely proud of the boys because they’ve performed really well and deserve to be in with a shot of promotion this year. To have reached the Cup Final as well is brilliant as well, although I would still trade promotion to Serie B for the trophy that awaits the winner of the Coppa Italia Lega Pro.

Predicting (hoping for) a win here!
Becoming increasingly consistent here, and also in a fantastic position :D
Only four points away from first, you can still find your way up there should form allow it
getting there buddy! get a good run going and you'll be first in no time
unbeaten month is always important at this stage in the season; keep it going!
